Heck yeah Ryan,

That was some of the best pre-tourney work I've ever seen. Sponsorships were huge!! You went from a C tier to probably big enough for an A tier.

The work on the baskets, tee pads, and signs was nothing short of amazing. Top notch job on revamping this course. It will be appreciated for years to come.

On another note,

Did anyone see Plamen's golf bag? We were about 20 minutes out of town when we had a premonition that he might have forgot it while he was prizing out. I think it may be by the benches. Full of discs.

Thanks in advance for anyone keeping an eye out. If it's found, please send it with someone coming to the Doo Dah. Much appreciated.

Thanks again for a great tournament!

I just wanted to thank our TD for an awesome tournament, and have to agree with Mike that this was gold standard prep work. The sometimes confusing wooded area was easy to navigate with the cool maps and tourney signs.

Aside from enduring my double disaster on 17 (16 in the afternoon), I had a great time. See you all in ICT in a couple weeks.

Pratt Tourney

Ryan, talked to Lil Joe the Pro this morning as it is his birthday and he was telling us about the Hot and Cold Classic yesterday. I went to the website and read all about it. Sounds absolutely great. Appears you did an awesome job getting it all together and then remembering where you put it all. Congrats on a great tournament. Joe the Pro and I wish we could have been there to witness it personally and participate, but with the wedding next month and gas prices and 14 hour one-way trip it just didn't seem feasible.

My regards to all who read this...your friends from Louisiana....Joe the Pro and Cat.

By the way, for those of you who don't know....Marissa had a girl on 4/26/07...Lilianne (pronounced Lillian) Elizabeth. 8lbs, 1oz., 20-1/2 inches long.

Thank you all for playing, and thank you all for the kind words! It was really a great experience for me too. I had a blast getting out there and watching for a bit each round.

I couldn't have done it without Mom, Les Rolo, Motorcycle Mary, Pat Hall, Chris Veatch, the lovely Chelsea and all of the sponsors... and of course all of the Pratt Disc Golf Club members who've helped raise funds for the baskets over the years. The Pratt Parks Department was exceptionally accommodating & very supportive of this event.

Mamma Cat & Joe The Pro, you were certainly missed! See you @ the wedding. Plamen's bag was indeed found, and I think we sent it to GB w/ Edward. Tracy, no blue surge on 1. I went down right after you called and canvassed that area.

Special thanks to Brett (Flying Bison), Jeremy (Dynamic Discs), Eric (Discraft), Chris (Discraft), Ron (Discraft) and Dennis and Annetta (Discs Unlimited) for graciously contributing to the prize pools. You all rock!! I really wish I could've been @ GB today. I plan to be @ Doo Dah & GBO.

Extra special thanks to Str8 for the lemon ade! I owe ya. Good times, Woody burgers, 5am kicks to the head & good discin. Let's do it again next year!

Which hole did Rodney Dyck ace in Pratt? It was the morning round, right?

BTW - congrats to Rodney Dyck & Kevin Rorabaugh for cashing on the Ace Fund. 60 out of 64 people paid in!

What a terrific Tournament Ryan and crew put on!!!!! Can't wait until next year! And thanks to the five other Pro Masters that I was fortunate enough to get to play with yesterday. What a great group of guys to play with. They make playing this sport an absolutely great experience.

I aced #3 first round.

Tourney was great, Ryan! I know you had help, just don't know how much and who! Thanks to everyone that helped! Your moms cookies were wonderful, as always! I enjoyed the new holes! Best improvement to the course was moving the tee signs! I know there is one that still needs moved (blue #7) cause Friz Rocker mentioned it was in his way, but that's ok! :D Maybe there are more, but I did not notice. Thanks for all the effort that was put into the course, and the tourney; moved tee signs, new baskets (at least half, right?), new course layout, spotters, water, snacks, bug spray, trash picked up, lines painted, chalked 10m (well, close enough!), maps, players packs, HUGE CTP's, big payout, killer sponsorship! It all adds up to a great tourney!

Good job Rodney on that ace and nice win! Kevin R. too, nice toss for that ace! Whoever made the other ace will for sure get in the ace fund next time (and join the KDGA??? I hope!).

Will for sure come back to Pratt! Thanks again for a super tourney!
