I would like to have the players meeting at 9:45 which means tee off will be after 10 since it can be a 20 min walk to the farthest tees. (Can drive around and park on the road rather quickly though). Please be plenty early to sign up. Overnight temps are suppose to be mid teens with a high of 50. We will play red tees in the morning and blue in the afternoon. (Hope for north wind in the morn and south in the afternoon). Sign up will be inside the trailer parked out there. If it is locked, no one home. If unlocked, come on in, the heater will be on.

Just 4X4 though it.....it wasnt nearly as bad as the first entrance.Khawk wrote:That is much nicer now, any plans on the other entrance?
I scraped the bottom of the honda on the first entrance....even going through at an angle trying not too. It would have ripped the rear bumper off if I would have tried going straight into it. Or I would have Highcentered

The results are in. 62 brave souls showed up for a 14 degree start with a stiff wind that had to have had the wind chill near 0. I was still wearing 4 layers at the end of the tournament due to a high of 39 and a cold wind that didn't let up.

Special thanks to Mike Wulbecker that made the trip from Iowa. See you next year. Bill

Looks like 32 members played (those signed up so far). Let me know if I missed any members whose names are not in color above.discscout wrote: There were 8 open men:

A Great Time
Thanks to Bill for a well run event and all the Master players who made my first Kansas Tournament very enjoyable. We are putting in 9 more tournament holes in our forest on campus at Treasure Cove, and the variety of tee placement and creative fairways at Colwich helped me to visualize the possibilities. I even got to take home a couple of souveniers from your course.....2 thorns in the back of the leg!
Small price to pay for a great time.
Ps. to all the Master Players. We are going to put on a 40 and over tournament here at Treasure Cove on June 21 this summer. We would love to see the masters from Kansas come and take on the rest of the field. Let me know if anyone is interested.
