Red Bud Open at Ted's Dread, April 12th

I will post some finalized info here soon, but it very likely is a go.
No KDGA events scheduled this weekend! I'm going to go up there and camp on Friday, play moonlight doubles till the wee hours, play the event, camp Saturday night, play Waterworks and the other 3 new courses in KC on Sunday. They usually do just casual skins or doubles on Sunday at Teds. Every round out there is a great time.
I say it every year, but not many have come out to see it for themselves. Ted's Dread is one of the coolest courses in the world. From the long tees, it is also one of the most difficult. Plenty of length variety, woods, and lots of elevation. Even some water holes.
The camping is great and the KC crowd are a lot of fun. Excellent BBQ for lunch included. One of my favorite events. It's near KC KS, I'll post back with some directions.
See you at Ted's....

This years event is called the 3rd Annual Final Redbud Open.
That is because every year they expect the property will sell and so far it hasn't. Though we may have a 4th Final Redbud, you never know. If you haven't played this tournament or this course, YOU GOTTA. Come see what a dream course would look like if you had a prime piece of property.

I don't see directions anywhere in the above post or link.
It is about 6 miles NE of Wyco.
Here's the gist of it...
Take I-35 or I-70 to I-435.
Go west on Leavenworth Rd at exit 15a.
Take Leavenworth Rd. a half mile to Hutton Rd.
Go north on Hutton Rd. 2 miles.
Take Hollingsworth Dr. east.
It's about 3/4 of a mile to the course.

Well, you all missed out......
On some winter weather. 30 degrees and 30mph winds and snow & sleet. And on April 12th!
The grub and the brew were great. We all had lots of fun despite the difficult conditions.
35 players in all. Fred Smith came back with an amazing 55 the final round to take 1st by a stroke over Hemmeline.
Ted may still have the property next year, but it looks like the baskets will be sold well before then.
