I'm probably coming up for this one Mike.

I looked at the results of your tournaments from last year and saw that recs and juniors only played one round. Will that be the case this year even with the ratings brackets realigned?

Walk the Plank

Post by wlbkr »

This year, we developed a new 9 holes in the forest, so we have enough holes for everyone to play 2 rounds of 18 and still get done in time. We now have a front 9, a middle 9 and a back 9. The pro's and advanced will actually play all 27 holes before the day is over. The Intermediates and Recs (and Novice) will play the middle 9 and back 9 twice by the end of the day. Glad you are planning on coming.

I'm planning on bringing a crew of golfers from the area to both of these tournaments!

Will the payout be not the same as the player's pack?

Am Payout

Post by wlbkr »

Our players pack consists of your choice of Walk the Plank Disc (Aviars and Rocs) or Walk the Plank Tee shirt.....and then another choice from our Merchandise table. (total value of around $15-$20.)

The payout of Reiver Bucks will look like this:

Your choice of one item at our Merchandise table

If you have more bucks...more choices at our tournament disc table (Tee Rex's and Wraiths mostly..but some others)

If you still have more bucks....your choice of any disc from Mr. Bills discs. He is bringing his store.

We wanted players to have choices of prizes and go home with something they could use.

Room at the Plank!

Post by wlbkr »

Even though the online registrations are closed for the 2008 Walk the Plank, there is still room at the Plank. To those who have not pre-registered, we will accept entry fees at the door...so come early on Saturday to ensure your spot. Anyone arriving at the last minute Saturday morning is playing things too risky :) We will close all entries at 9am sharp, or when we hit 135 players, whichever comes first. Come early to get in on the fun.

Crap, I was going to do this tomorrow morning.

Mike, is there still any way to prepay and reserve a spot? I don't want to drive five and a half hours and incur gas expenses only to find out there isn't one available.

Still Plenty of Room

Post by wlbkr »

Still room at the Plank. With the new forest holes, we can handle 135 players. My advice, just don't come at the last minute. :)
