I just looked at the weather for the week. Rain almost everyday until Saturday. That is pretty lucky for us. If you don't have us teeing from the cart path or cement of some kind on each hole, you may want to tweek the course a little. With 70 people throwing from the same spot we will destroy the tee area.

Well as of now we are up to 45 players and just a few reminders we have to limit the field to 72 players due to a limited number of golf carts.

Registration cut of at 9:30 am Saturday sharp if not already full.

A few rules that are required from the Elks are no spike shoes and everybody has to ware a collar shirt or a mock turtle neck shirt.

Looks like probably no Gay Thomas for me. What a bummer, I guess it will be there next time I am in Salina. :D

Wake up Mossy!

What is the Elks Division?

Anyone planning on playing some speed golf (3 discs only) at Thomas after the tourney? May not have time, but it'd be cool to at least see the course.

first (cross your fingers) annual elks club tourny was friggin sweet. big course, elevation change and golf carts to ward off the keg-legs. brilliant. thanks to the country club for havin us and thanks to mace for putting together sweet payouts despite greens fees and cart rentals coming out of the buy-in. i swear i heard right that a 3way tie for 5th in advanced paid 40 bones apiece. i'd wear a collar for that anytime. next year, beer carts for refills!

Salina Crew, thanks for getting us on the Elks. It was pretty sweet! Big elevation, some pretty technical greens (Ask Jones), long bombs, short holes, water everything you could ask for.

A few tweeks to the course next year and it could be one of the sickest courses that you could play in Kansas.

I am glad I got to play the first event and am excited to see how it will grow in the next few years. It should grow into a killer event.
