I don't think there will a Recreational division offered. The Casual division will basically be non-sanctioned and there will be no $10 fee on that. If you are a REC player, and want PDGA points for the tournament, I guess you have to play Intermediate.
I am playing intermediate, this is not a problem, i think its a really good idea

When playing Casual, would there be a merchandise payout? and if so, for what places?
Would it be better payouts for playing intermediate? Thanks!

Flyer says $40 open plus 10$ non PDGA fee, but I went to the pre-reg on the website and it says 45 plus the $10 fee. Just wondering which is correct....Also wondering if a junior div was going to be offered and if the $10 fee would apply there as well. They are only 10 and prob cant compete in the the rec and dont want to just throw away 40 for the kids to play

My son just turned 11 a week ago and he will be there. It will be great if they have a junior division. If not, he still wants to play so he will just take his beating in casual.

Juniors will be the same as the casual for registration or $20.

The online registration includes the ace fund!

I was able to get out to the course tonight for league and everything looks great! The park is as green as I've ever seen it and with the weekend forecast saying temperatures in the low 80's this weekend is going to be one that you don't want to miss out on! Two B-Tiers in one weekend!

I have had a lot of phone calls in regards to the tournament with people stating that they are coming. I'm not putting players on the list that haven't paid but could have around 50 on the PDGA list if I put everyone on the list who said they were coming.

Chris Tyler/SuperNiceGuy is once again taking care of the KDGA fees for both events! This is huge for the events so make sure and thank him so that he continues to support the KDGA tournaments. He drinks cold beverages so make sure if you see him that he doesn't have an empty hand:)

Also, we will have JMo's out at the park again serving food. Lunch will be a 1/4 cheeseburger, chips, a cookie, and a drink for $5.50 from what I remember being told. This will give everyone a good opportunity to check out the DISCRAFT test drive that is taking place during the lunch break.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Does anyone know if they are going to allow us to camp in Jones park on Saturday night like they did at the GBO?

Can anyone offer me a place to stay Saturday night so I can attend both tournaments and have a shower in the morning? I will compensate and will be very respectful o your things.

If anyone is planning to get a motel room I'd get to making a reservation. Motel 6 and Super 8 appear to be sold out and Econolodge had just a few room left. Rodeway had some left.

Is there something else going on in town that night? :?:

Emporia always has things going on with the college it seems! I would recommend the Rodeway Inn for the hotel and ask about a disc golf tournament discount.

I am still waiting to hear back on the camping and will post info as soon as I know something.

Things are shaping up to be an excellent weekend! Get signed up in advance to secure your spot for Saturday. I've had way too many phone conversations with the player saying, "I'll be there this weekend, put me on the list". I'd hate to have to turn players away who drove from out of town. It is the same price to sign up online as it is to sign up on Saturday or Sunday morning.

I edited the link! Sorry about that! If this doesn't work let me know and I'll assume that my computer just likes me and not everyone else!

sign up here

Or just go to http://www.DynamicDiscs.com and click on tournaments!

From the parks department, "Camping should be fine like it was in the spring. Please keep the vehicles on the road as much as possible without being a pest to your players." Everyone is fine to camp at Jones. Please respect the park and pick up after yourself!

Again, another 5 phone calls tonight stating that "I'll be there". If everyone shows up that says they are, we should fill the Revenge!

Casual is for both days! I made a mistake on the registration and can't change it now. If you want to sign up casual for both or just sunday you can register for the Revenge twice and just specify that you would like to play both or just for Sunday. As long as you leave a note I will make the necessary changes.
