Anthony Oct. 17

Post by smitty »

Many of you may not know James. Long story short, he changed the date of his tourney last year. He was out of the country defending fighting for our country. He is also going to be out of town next weekend, once again.

He debated canceling the event.

Instead, he is going to allow me and the WVDGA crew to run the event.

Time: 8:30 Registration starts 10:00 tee time.
Place: Lake Anthony Disc Golf Course.

Fees:

All Open divisions: $35
Advanced divisions $25
Novice Junior $20

OPTIONAL ACE FUND $5
This is a KDGA double points event that you are not going to want to miss.

Looke at course photos this morning, looks like a good course from the limited pictures, any chance you know which pin placement will be used?

I don't know what position the baskets are in right now.

James said he would leave a key for us to move them if we wanted.

So we will probably play all of them.

Traditionally (all two years!) there has been a mixed layout both rounds, and the pins are moved during lunch.

Is there an alternate tee on one as well as alt pin? I know we talked about it.

Wow, I had forgotten all about that Ron. The pros and adv tee'd off from that little "penninsula" that jutted out into the lake...
Throw some D's on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know if we will play from that different tee. If I remember, it actually seemed easier then the original tee. I will be looking for some help getting baskets moved during lunch.
