It was also cool seeing how many juniors you guys have down there. It's something I haven't seen much of in wichita, Played against Bryce in the doubles and he took us to school.

Yeah, the ones with the *'s in front of their names are the regular middle school kids that play at Cherry St. about 24/7.

We have been averaging about 10-12 juniors at our "Kidz in the valley" league on Thursdays. We play at 5 at cherry st. If you get a chance you should come check it out, these guys are awsome. Anyone under 15 is welcome.

I had a ton of feedback on the course yesterday, and it was all positive. I for sure want to use the same design next year with a few changes. I want to make a hole or two that force an anhyzer shot. I also think that some of the holes played exactly the same (2, 4, 17).

Ideas: Any feedback positive or negative is welcome.

Hole 1- Probably played as a par 5. I don't think this hole needs much of a change. The key to success on this hole was to throw a long drive that finished straight or right. There were far fewer trees on the right side.

Hole 2- I didn't think was to bad of a hole. I didn't see a ton of 2's on it. Maybe adjust the tee a little to make the hyzer on the drive a little more risky. Find a way to make that gap smaller and force people to throw a gut shot or anhyzer.

Hole 3- Pretty tricky for being as short as it was. Tough to throw that short of a shot with anhyzer on it. People with thumbers should have made short work of the hole

Hole 4- Played pretty nice. Could maybe be a tad longer and farther to the right. Seemed kind of easy to throw hard and low and let it skip up and around to the basket.

Hole 5- Would be the one I would/could do away with. I have a feeling that people may have liked it.

Hole 6- Is just a sweet hole!

Hole 7- The only real anhyzer on the course. I would like to maybe clean the branches out and make it easy to go past the tree. I did like the basket up in the tree, it made the hole pretty unique.

Hole 8- I have never played a hole like that in my entire life. If I changed it at all, I might move the basket toward the top of the hill. I would like to at least be able to see the nickle.

Hole 9- Also a pretty cool hole. I really like the way the fairway narrows as you get towards the end. If I changed it at all, I might move the tee and make people shape a shot to get it in the gap.

Hole 10- I would like to clean out behind the basket and make the hole maybe 15-20 feet longer. That way the shots that didn't split the gap would be a little more of a tester putt.

Hole 11- Tough hole. I think it plays great and looks great.

Hole 12- Perfect hole. Long enough that you have to throw pretty hard to get it down there. The harder you throw, the easier it is to mess up.

Hole 13- Probably leave it like it is. The green was kick butt. I didn't see many people get roll aways like I was wanting.

Hole 14- Tough mother. Probably a Par 4 or maybe a 5. I do know that Jimmy put his second shot under the basket during doubles.

Hole 15- "The Swede Hole", There is no reason to change it, it was perfect. Little turnover with a stable disc that is going to come back to the left at the end.

Hole 16- Might move this hole close to the lagoon. There is a very narrow strip of land that would make for a tough anhyzer/flick shot. Water would be on the right and OB road on the left.

Hole 17- Might move the basket to the right and make it more of a straight to right shot. It was another one of those throw hard and let it skip to the right holes.

Hole 18- For sure moving the tee to the left. To easy of a hyzer as it was. I will move it far enough left that if you throw the wide hyzer it probably isn't going to make it back to the basket leaving you a much longer putt.

Good question. Smitty, did you ever send your letter to Mark? I'd like to see a copy of it if you did...
