Those are some cool pictures!

I had a great time at the tourny. Man was I worn out from climbing all those hills! Thanks to everyone in Salina who made this event run smoothly.

Great job Mace & Salina crew!

Everything about this event was top notch. The players pack with a free disc of our choice was great. The best thing must have been Harvey cooking some excellent BBQ for us. Good food without having to drive was very appreciated.

Good decisions with the course this year. Even with a shorter layout, I am exhausted. I saw nothing but smiling faces all weekend though.

I gotta also say hats off to Randy Brown. He is one of the best guys you will ever throw a round with. That was a good article the newspaper did on him.

Gotta say not only did Salina put on an awesome event... They played some great golf as well!

That was the Stratusaurus Rex from the crap on hole 3.

I love hole 3, you throw a good drive and you have an easy upshot. You get greedy and you can add some strokes to your score.

How many discs in your bag did you use at the ROCK?

As I was cleaning out my bag, I noticed that out of 24 discs in my bag, I used 23. I also lost 2 of those discs. 5 of those discs aren't normally in the bag, but I wanted to try them out, and have extras to throw in the pond!

I had six discs that decided they didn't want to kick it with me anymore and instead wanted to stay in various places at the Rock. I was glad to see them go, as they were really hurting the morale of the other discs and it's really hard to make it rain when your disc has already given up on you. I plan to have a long talk to my discs tonight and make sure that they are all on board with team Blue Thunder, so we can shock the world at Beloit.

When you say various places do you mean at the bottom of the pond with the two disc I lost?

Day 2 I decided to make an executive decision and took out every disc I didn't throw on day one , unless it was there for an emergency backup.

Got my bag down to
2 Wraiths
1 Pred and 1 S. Max
1 Buzz
1 Wasp
1 Surge
1 Force
1 Banger Gt, 2 Challengers

11 Discs total did what I thought it would and saved me a lot of extra energy walking up all them friggin hills. I lost a ton of discs in the trees while warming up in between rounds.

Gotta thank everyone who returned my discs, I know in the past that hasn't happened at a lot of other tournaments. Somehow I came home with everything I brought.

Just wanna say thanks to the Salina Crew from running a great tournament, thanks to Ron, Iqbal, Smitty, and Mace in particular. And a huge Congratulations to Downtown Randy Brown for winning and to Nasty Nate for securing his bid into the USDGC!
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

You do a great job with it Smitty and it keeps you from participating, so that's a plus too :) .
