We've decided it's happening even if just a a few people. Rodney raised $50 add'l sponsorship from local businesses, and some other cool prizes. He has tombstone trophies.

Dodge City 2007 Results:
OPEN
Rodney Dyck 104
Don Mordecai 110
Ryan Beisner 112
Don took CTP on one hole, Rodney on the other. No Ace was hit, all were paid in. We did a CTP shoot off and Rodney took the ace pot.
Photos of the unbelievably awesome conditions will follow hopefully soon.
$50 coming to KDGA + $6 ACE.
A big (big) thanks is in order to Master Dyck for his effort out here. We had a freaking blast. Hole 4's basket ended up in the water. There were waterfalls, thick snow, sun shiny and warm -- on an icy tundra. Weird, I know. We witnessed lightning in a snow storm ... from the hotel. We were all pealing off layers as the day moved on. This was a once in a lifetime event, witnessed by only three brave souls.
Wish you were there!

Well, I wouldn't say that nobody made the trip!
From Ness City to Dodge it was very slick. Lots of cars in the ditch and almost my van. But I made it!
Very slippery playing, but tons of fun! By the time we were done it was short sleeve t-shirt weather, with lots of snow still on the ground, and a small river running through the course! It was a blast!
Thanks guys for still having it, and not giving up just cause of the weather!!!

WHAT AN ADVENTURE!!!
I couldn't ask for two better guys to play this tournament with than Don and Ryan.
Other than the snow and gushing "river" through the park it was an absolute perfect day for disc golf. The hardest part was the further along the day went the more slippery the footing became, because of the snowy slush and the Higher the "river" rose. By the end of the tournament, my feet were so wet that I didn't much care anymore how deep it was and walking from tee pad 18 to the basket was almost knee deep.
Sorry more couldn't share in our crazy experience. Hope to see you all tomorrow here in Ashland.
