I'm not sure of what the precise cutoff will be, other than it will be a multiple of four. In a large division it will likely be less than half. In a smaller one probably more than half. They can't get more than 72 onto each course, and I doubt they want separate pools in the semifinals, so I'd say 72 will be the cutoff in advanced. There are 253 entered.
