I've been calling people about the baskets. Here's what I have so far.

(80% or better)
Bill Paulson: 4
Bob Decker: 2
Kevin Staufer: 2
Buddy Kassner: 1
Robin Reimer: 1
Jeff Ring: 1
Bo Carrasco: 1

(probablys)
Tracy Ruder: 1
Chad Garrison: 1 or maybe several
Jason Adkins: 1

(maybe)
Randy Mattingly: 1 (anyone can pick it up)
Scooba: 1 (haven't reconfirmed)

(people who could be contacted)
Jack Two-Away
The Winfield Crew

Hey Smitty,
Do you know for sure who is coming from Winfield? Won't be as far of a drive this year. Shan, yourself, Harvey, Rich, Bart, Bob. Who could bring some baskets with the least amount of trouble? I think we are probably looking for 4 more baskets tops.

When Chad finds out how many he can get, we could let people know that they don't need to bring them. We have a lot of maybes, so I'd rather have too many.

Lets all buy Scooba some mulligans!

I've spent that last few evenings tweaking the course. It looks like it will be a lot of fun.

It is about 6000' and about SSA 54. An average advanced player might shoot 60. With some mulli's, a sub 54 round is definitely doable. Plays about half in the woods and half out, but every hole has plenty of trees in play. Bring your lefty friends because there are plenty of holes for them. Most have a couple routes or more though.

Do you not need the base and basket??

I know that I will not be there. I do have 3 baskets that can be hauled to Wichita. I don't know who is going, but we have plenty of baskets. I will ask around and see what is going on.

Chad told me he could bring a few. If so and a big majority of those on this list come through, we wouldn't need any more. It would be nice to err on the safe side though. If someone is coming and it isn't too much trouble, ask them if they could bring a couple.

That's another idea for a fundraiser. Buy your favorite disc golfer (in a different division) mullies!

Suggestion... Hey Mike, I have an idea for the mulligans. I'll print up mulli bucks. Fifty or a hundred of them and when people buy mulligans give them a mulli buck. When they use them, they turn them in to whoever has the score card, they're considered spent. It will be easier to keep track of the mulligans out on the course. The spent mulligans get turned in with the cards after each round. What do you think of that idea. If you like it let me know asap and I'll draw up some ACDGC mulli bucks and give them to you this weekend during league.

We used to do tickets, like at the friz. That was a hassle, and the system could be cheated.

The way we do it now is when you sign up and buy your mulligans, we'll put a number of "M"'s on your card. When you use them, write an M next to your score for the hole ("I'll take a mulligan 3") and then cross out one of the M's at the top.

What are you gonna do when its snows 12 inches in 35mph+ winds?

Since we have since got the clearance to go into the woods and even drive our baskets down their "no motorized vehicle" paths, Bill has said that he'd like to set up an all woods course that would play shorter and better keep players out of the wind. This would be in case the weather was nasty.

Due to the roughness, I think the all woods course wouldn't have as many good holes. When the snow melts off, I'll try to make it out there to take yet another look at an alternate design.
