If you can shoot one of the best scores for non-qualified players.

They do, and will.

A Pool - All Pros
B Pool - Advanced AMs
C Pool - All other AMs

Round East Course West Course Peter
Round 1 A B C
Round 2 C A B
Round 3 B C A
Round 4 A B C

***only exception could be Grand Masters and Senior Grand Masters. Depending on numbers they could end up in the C pool. We really plan on having close to 90 Open (Open, Masters, Women) players in the A pool. Of course this is all easier to figure out if people sign-up early.

You should be able to access the schedule and all updates at http://www.glassblownopen.com

137 Players!

That is over half full. I see a ton of Kansas names missing. You better get on the ball.

This thing is going to be the absolute best tourney that many of you will have played to date.

Fluty there will be plenty of spots left come Friday. Now a month from Friday people could be in trouble.

I see we're over the 50% mark now. I'd better get signed up if I'm coming.

Question. Are there plans perhaps to have an alternate check-in for players who know they will be in the 'C' pool at Peter Pan on Saturday so they can just head straight there? I think traffic concerns at Jones might make this a good idea.

I assume there will be a Friday afternoon/evening check in at Jones? I'm debating whether to stay over Friday or head up in the dark on Saturday morning.

172 Players! Many people are going to miss the best EVENT they will have played in if they don't get on the ball. This thing will be full before the weekend of the tourney. Do yourself a favor and get registered soon.

Scott- I would say that there isn't going to be a meeting at Peter Pan. There will be travel time figured into the mix so that shouldn't be a huge problem. Also, I will not be taking attendance at the meeting.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but IF YOU ARE NOT SIGNED UP AND PLAN ON PLAYING GET ON THE BALL!

This is going to be unlike any tourney most Kansas people have seen or been to. We will be forced to turn people away!

Current pool breakdowns:

A Pool
Open 46
Masters 19
Open Women 4

TOTAL 69

B Pool
Advanced 38
Adv. Masters 8
Adv. G Masters 1
Open G Masters 9 (

TOTAL 56

C Pool
Int 35
Adv. Women 3
Int Women 6
Rec 9
JR 1
TOTAL 54

That only leaves
A Pool with 21 Spots
B Pool with 34 Spots
C Pool with 36 Spots

There will be no dividing a division. These are pretty much the way the pools are going to play out. We may be able to move Open Women or SR. GMasters to a different pool to free up or take up space, depending on how you look at it.

Don't plan on pulling into the park on Saturday morning and getting to play.

Could one of you locals down there give a comparison of Peter Pan to the Jones courses? I was there 2 years ago, played both Jones courses, got to play with Hemmy in the finals, had an absolute blast. I'm curious if PP is the course of choice in Emporia, or just another course.

Can't wait! This is looking to be quite the event.

Nice job promoting Smitty!
