Nice maps...I don't know if I will be in town Friday early enuf to play so it's cool to see the layout. Hays is killer every year and all of Kansas knows it...are the rumors true that hickman is bringing a caravan colorado's top players as part of his first quest abroad as a DD Missionary?

-..."and the earth was dark and stoodeth still in this land...man and his disc sat motionless, withoutess the slightest of breath from the holy spirits of glide and fade...The chains madeth not a sound neither in the name of funeth nor competition....eth....and thru the absence of flight and brotherhood, cameth a noble man from landward east...a disc-iple of the gospel all things dynamic. And witheth Him, He brought to this land the light of flight..." -Hickman 12:15-36

This thing should fill!
I have heard rumor of Mike "The Legend" Randolph making the trip.

I know that Hickman plans on making an really hope that he does. As far as traveling with other golfers? Come on, this is Hickman! He travels alone.

Yon Kingpin has heralded rightly.

Yea have I heard it foretold thusly: A great many Subarus shall feel compelled easterly, owners in tow, wide-eyed, searching, but knowing not that for which they search. It is said they seek Him, and verily they do--though not mindfully. Their souls shall be made divining rods of peace, of balance of glide and fade, of a chance to walk a round with the beardly ginger, swaddled in a ragg'd camouflage holster of discs.
Throw Millennium.

Bo might make it...there has been a last minute delay concernng his paperwork and insurance filings for his gender reassignment surgery. So many hoops to go through just to transform himsef into the whimpering cooze he's always dreamed of being...thanks to buracracy and closed minded insurance providers, it looks like he will be able to "man up" one last time before winning womens worlds in 2012.

So after a night of drinking and partaking in a fantasy football draft. When did the PDGA start offering a transgender division...lol.

Here is your Frontier Open Hump Day Update!

Scott and crew are working away at the course, moving baskets, painting circles, marking OB, and all the tourney prep. All the baskets should be in the park by this afternoon. The tees will not be marked until Friday when myself and the DD Crew roll into Hays.

We did have a conflict with one of the new holes and another group that had that corner of the park reserved. Thanks to a quick heads-up from Jason Adkins, most of the trouble "may" have been avoided. Rusco and I are going to meet with the "Block Party" group on Friday morning and see if we can salvage all but 1 of the new holes on the East 18. I think we will only miss out on 2 of them at the most, and we will make the best out the situation.

As far as I know the players party will be jamming at the park with tunes being played by DJ Crispy Critter. I am sure Beer Frizz, and other DG games will be going on.

First ever Frontier Open "Buffalo Chip"?

This Saturday at the completion of the second round we are going to start the "Buffalo Chip". The "Chip" is an Ace Race of sorts, where the participants will complete the course, only gunning for aces. The beauty is that you can use your own discs and play as many times as you like.

The cost is $3/round.
The round will consist of 6 to 9 holes, none longer then 250 feet.

At the end of the "Buffalo Chip" all players who hit an ACE will split the pot evenly.

The island and around the dike are OK.

The problem is the little park where the dike and Main connect.

The two around the tennis courts should be OK?
