Format might depend on how many teams we get. Tentatively skipping 3, 4, 17, and 20 and playing an alternate tee on 21 which makes it a par 4. 1880 clan will likely play long 10 (V tree to elevated bucket) and long 19 as Tough Shot holes both rounds. OB will be fields, water, parking lot, buildings, fences as well as a painted line separating 10 and 11's fairways. The plan right now is to play about 1/2 the holes Best Shot and 1/2 other formats.

I don't know much about the Sunflower games but the bulk of Intermediate players are rated above 850. Look at the list of DD Open Intermediate players for instance. So if you and your buddy are intermediate players who finished towards the top, I would have to assume you are better than 2 850 players. Based on that, you are not only too good for a Rec division, you are too good for the 1700 division.
