Re: 4th dynamic discs open
What a fantastic weekend. I love making the drive to see Kansas Disc Golf Action.
The past week has been hectic but I finally have a video for the Revenge of the Monkey/DD Open 2009.
You can see it on my youtube channel by click here.
I also have some photos from the event. You can see the gallery by clicking here.
My laptop that has my web site software on it is being repaired so I am unable to update my website with all the coverage but the above links will take you to the source.
Thanks everyone for letting me come out to Emporia and do my thing.

Why does this picture make me nervous? I drank out of those coolers!

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
Re: 4th dynamic discs open
We only peed in the orange one.
Re: 4th dynamic discs open
Watched the video again. Nice job as usual CDSB! These videos and pictures are just what DD needs to put the all the way over the top. Thanks!!!
Re: 4th dynamic discs open
Cooldaddyslickbreeze.com has hooked DD up with another vid. Things like this are just going to put DD above and beyond the rest of the disc golf companies out there.
THANKS Bobby Brown!

Smitty,
There is a saying I have heard at tourneys that a blade of grass will save you. And what you said in the video would dismiss that theory. Question - A disc leaning on a curb. The disc on this would be O.B. or inbounds? Just wanting to clarify things for myself.
Video's are sweet, thanks cooldaddy!

Re: 4th dynamic discs open
Curb kind of depends on the lie.
If the disc is breaking the plane, you are safe. Part of the disc must be over the grass.
803.09 Out-of-Bounds
A. A disc shall be considered out-of-bounds only when it comes to rest and it is clearly and
completely surrounded by the out-of-bounds area. A disc thrown in water shall be deemed to be
at rest once it is floating or is moving only by the action of the water or the wind on the
water. See section 803.03 F. The out-of-bounds line itself is considered out-of --bounds. In order to
consider the disc as out-of bounds, there must be reasonable evidence that the disc came to rest within the out-of-bounds area. In the absence of such evidence, the disc will be considered lost and the player will proceed according to rule 803.11B.
The road is OB, it doesn't matter if the grass is growing out over the road. The best thing to do is have a clearly defined line.
Anytime you are not certain, play a provisional and have the TD make the call.
