What course will I be playing first on Saturday?

If I am going to Start at Shunga Park, That is where I want to spend my morning. If I am going to be at Crestview, then that is where I will warm-up.
Glad to hear you can make it! Open divisions will be at shunga in the morning and crestview in the afternoon.

It's marked, and you can print out a map, but it will not be set up until Sunday morning. The same baskets being used for Big Shunga will be moved there. All the baskets that are being used for the temps are revamped baskets from Crusty made into portables, so we have no way of locking them down.

Here is a revised map of Shawnee South. A couple of O.B. lines were added. I guess water O.B. wasn't tough enough...

If it were up to me, I'd bust my ass going around trying to get baskets and pads to make both Big Shunga and Shawnee South permanent, but County/City says no. Not just no to those, but any new courses anywhere around here. Period. Even if we do supply the baskets and amenities.

But it's not really a surprise, they take better care of parks that have absolutely no traffic at all, then they do Crestview. They won't even let us set up the Gold course anymore.

We were all totally surprised when they finally gave Q a call about the baskets.

But I guess I can't complain, although they went el cheapo on us, and it took a few years of badgering, they did get the new hoops.

/rant

Back on topic, as stated above, Crusty Gold will not be set up for the tourney. But it works out, since the temps are good enough. 2 great courses, and two easier ones.(even though I do shoot better on the gold. 8) )

Not too late. Got you guys on the list and will update tomorrow morning.

Someone will be at big shunga from 2-6 collecting entries for doubles and anybody wanting to sign up before t-ment day. Big shunga will be available for casual singles rounds as well (ie. you don't have to play doubles if you don't have a partner).

Hope to see you there!

There is talk of a permanent 3-6 hole course at Highland Park High School as Russ has started a club there that has picked up pretty well. I will be excited to see how that goes.

The county frowned on us setting any sleeves at the south course and as a result, we will be using portables.

On the school grounds? Or at Dornwood? Dornwood is one of the places I brought up for the Crestview baskets, that place could have real potential if cleaned up.

Although, we(and others?) paintball there. Highland Park + extremely dark at midnight + guns = high tension fun.

Sorry for the typo. It is $70, or $65 with a current pdga membership. Let me know if there are additional questions.
