Great job on the tourney, I could tell you guys put a ton/work of time into this. Thanks!!! What a way to make one of my favorite coarses into coarse that really pissed me off. I loved what you did on hole 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 & 12. I thought that 13 was a decent idea, but needed to be a little longer. You could have made it longer, but wouldn't have been able to use #1's teepad.

Hole 7 could use some thinking about.
2, 2, 16 and the 16 happened infront of my mom. I try not to drop F-Bombs in front of her, but couldn't help myself. It was not really that tough, I just got pissed. Maybe you could have a cap on the hole score, since there's no relief. Mistakes like mine could have really F'd up my PDGA rating or KDGA standing. Luckly, I am not a PDGA member yet and non of my competitors in KDGA were there.

Overall good time. PS, Smitty will be trying out on the next American Idol.

Thank you and all the others that worked so hard (especially with the heat and humidity) to make this tournament a great time. Everyone interacted well and despite the heat, everyone seemed happy and having a great time. BTW, Brian thanks for the beer that was right on time. Also, you had said you would put me back into the intermediate class for pdga points. It looked like I would be tied for 12th. I shot a 143. Oh my name is Chris Regier.

Mike a few stats on the B Pool. All the players that had to make the island. Remember Rec and JR. got the chance to go to the drop zone if they didn't make it. The stats are a little short. I ran out of room on my spread sheet, and haven't figured out yet how to expand it.

Hole 7 stats:

36- 2's
28- 3's
19- 4's
11 -5's
7- 6
10- 7+

As far as changing the rule, I doubt I will do that. What I may do is make the tall grass landing zone a little bigger and closer to the tee. Other ideas that crossed my mind were a series of 3 islands all the size of the island with the basket. Make is so a person could probably go putt, putt, putt, putt for an easy 4 every time.

As for hole 13, I wanted to try and keep as many tees on cement as possible. The only other cement would be the basketball court, which would force me to make a bigger fence and the tee would be in the way of people throwing holes 1 and 12. I just kind of ran out of land. As for easy, it was intended to be a simple 3.

Hole 13 stats:
52- 2's
52- 3's
5- 4's
1- 6

17 of the 2's and the only 6 came from the Open division.

I can probably hook you up with a couple of files both Herman and Oak. With all the tees and basket locations on them. My map guy charges around $50 a course give or take. My course was pretty simple 13 tees 13 baskets. The more things you add to the course, the more it may cost you. It would be pretty sweet to have the maps for both of your courses. If you want the connection, let me know.

You saw our maps for both courses at the Doo Dah. Do you see improvements that we could make? Certainly a good price. What we really need are new signs at Herman Hill. Benches will be in the works later in the year.

Depending on what you play next year I think a new map could be extremely helpful. The more things you get the harder it will be to see/read. If you go with the long tee-short tee format to the long baskets it should be pretty simple. I will get in touch with him and see what he thinks.
