This tourney may get 1-upped by Pratt
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Could happen!

Kevin won $375 last year for first in Wichita.
Ron won $300 this year for first in Pratt.

Wichita had 12 players.
Pratt had 10 players.

Wichita entry fee was probably $60 or more.
Pratt entry fee was $35.

I also saw "Little Frizzy" walk off with about $165 dollars in plastic for a CTP! It wasn't just him, all the CTP's were payed that well.

Ryan has for sure raised the bar for B-tiers!

Bob, since the registration form on the ACDGC website is for 2006, can I still use that?

Or can I just cut and paste what you posted here and send that in?

Thanks for the update about our website. The volunteer that was going to take care of that has apparently dropped the ball. :(

The prices have changed. :? PM me your e-mail address or send it to me at [email protected] and I'll e-mail you a form. Or, as you suggested, just cut and paste from this forum and get it mailed to me.

Of course, you could use the on-line registration @ www.discgolfsignup.com.

Let me know what you decide. 8)

Bob

P.S. Thanks again for the heads-up about the ACDGC website.

MINIMUM OF $500 CASH ADDED TO THE PRO PURSES 8)

Winner of the Advanced Men’s Division will receive, at minimum, a disc golf basket.

A basket will also be awarded to the winner of the amateur division, other than Advanced Men, that has the highest dollar amount of registration fees paid. :D

There will be a putting/approach contest for a third basket – bring some extra dollars to compete in this contest.

First 125 registered players to receive a players pack that includes a Top-of-the-Line INNOVA or Discraft Disc 8)

Pre-registrations encouraged. Field will be limited to the 1st 144 registered players.

3 Baskets given away, that is pretty solid. What kind of basket are we looking at? Chainstar, Mach, Discatcher?

$500 to the Open mens division? Is there any added to the masters and other open divisions?

Sounds like things are coming together.

Baskets:
1 INNOVA Discather Sport
2 Lightning DB-5's

$500 minimum added to the PRO purses (could be more but won't know until the final numbers are in). Last year about 75% of the added cash went to the OPEN division. We will probably stay in that allocation area again. As should be, the lions share will go to the OPEN division to encourage the good players to compete there. 8)

Sponsors now include: INNOVA, Discraft, Discs Unlimited, Lightning Discs, Coleman, Shooters, Riverside Cafe, Hiebert and Decker, CPA's, and ACDGC

Flooding has claimed a couple holes on both courses. Didn't get any rain today, despite 80% in forcast. River is supposed to start receding tomorrow. Should be fine by this weekend. Sunny and 80 degrees!

What exactly does the "MEDIA & NEW PLAYER EVENTS" consist of?

I'll be moving into my apartment that afternoon there in Wichita, not sure if I should rush through it to make my way down for this stuff... :D

I plan on playing for sure, but haven't signed up online yet (darn $4.00 extra charge).

Can I PM you my info and be considered pre-registered..? :D
