I am looking forward to playing the GB course! What do you have cooking Rusco?

Over sidewalks OB?
Alt Tees/Pins?

I will get to work on this shortly and get all the details as far as entry fees and all that good stuff (my head is still spinning from the Safari). I know we will change up some of the holes and make any changes that we can find to better the course. I think we should play the sidewalks and over as OB as long as it is a nice day and not 30+ mph winds. There will be alternate pins and alternate tees for sure. I'll get more posted shortly but I think there should be a good local showing and hopefully we can pull in a few from the surrounding area.

Well, I'm pretty sure we'll have better weather than the Safari so that right there is worth the drive! If we use the sidewalks as OB the course is very challenging even though it is on flat ground.

I hope the course can dry out by tournament time. I was in GB a week ago today and the front nine was practically a marsh, and mind you that was before this past weekends wild weather.

I'm gonna try and hit this one regardless.

I plan to be there and I'm sure a handful of other Pratt folks will be too. It's a fun course!

I'm sure the course will dry out. The trees and grass that never get water are catching up on six months of water starvation :) Any preferences on whether we should play on or over the walking paths as OB?

If the park is to wet, you could alway play at the college. We have done that before, and moved all the tees to the sidewalks.

If not I say we do some Dynamic Double up there Sat. nite.

Looks like there will be a car load or two coming from Emporia! I'll be posting the online registrations shortly. If you are planning on attending send me a PM so that I can put you on the list.

I was through Great Bend on Saturday and the only issue I could see was #14 being only 4 ft from the water, and in a bit of a marsh - still playable though.

The bridge on 14 was out of commission, but the walk around to the west isn't much longer.

I'm sure the hole on the northwest corner is muddy as usual, but I didn't get over to that corner to look.

I'd say it's a go...the water is high, but the course should be playable.

Had something come up here at home, so I won't be making it up to GB this morning. Good luck to all the participants.

GB concluded and awesome weekend - one for the record books. Gotta love that wind - couldnt tell if I had windburn or sunburn.

Thanks to Rusco's Granny for putting up with everyone. I had an awesome time!
