After a morning of snow we had frito chili pie's made by the wife and grandma! Awesome!
A nice little group of local golfers showed up to donate and throw some plastic! It turned out to be an great afternoon of weather.
Mr Scott glass from Michigan now resident of Garden City ended up winning the event by a single stroke. Scott said he will be attending another event and plans on becoming a member of the KDGA! yea! 3 other golfers tied for second with several others(my wife) just 2 strokes off the lead. Melanie and baby Parker (in the oven) lasted the entire day banging chains with guys and rolling off turkey of birdies the first round!
We raised $155 dollars and 126 pounds of food that will be donated to the local food bank!
Thanks to the local golfers of D/C Slingers and the KDGA for developing the opportunity to get things rolling here!

Names that are KDGA members is actually none at the moment.
Jason Snodgrass - need to renew mine and plan on it Saturday in Winfield if possible.
Melanie Snodgrass - not current yet as well
Scott glass - played in some tournaments last summer and plans to get signed up, so look for his name to sign up as that is his plan.
The rest r not members nor do I see them getting involved as of yet. Hope that helps
