Multiple Discs

Why do many people have more than 2 of the same type of disc in their bag. Is it because of habit and what you are used to. Or is it part of a certain technique?

Usually, when people have more than 1 disc of the same mold in their bag, those discs don't do the exact same thing. People usually carry an older one, that is more beat in, and then a more predictable newer disc. They may even have a few discs in varying degrees of "newness."

I have 3 Wraiths, and three Teebirds right now, and two Firebirds. Two of my teebirds are very similar, but it's nice to have a back up incase I lose one. I did lose a Firebird at the Memorial, I was glad to have a spare.

This is simple! A more worn disc, has a great flight path. It will do the same thing every time. Also, you will find a freak once in a while that is just perfect. It may be an overstable mid or a flippy driver.

If you look in any 1000 rated players bag, you will see many of the same disc. I know EMac has a Pred in his bag that he throws long anhyzers with. He doesn't need an XL or Tracker, or any flippy driver as long as he has this disc.

I also carry alot of the same disc in my bag. I carry 6 avengers . 2 of them ar z plastic one is more worn than the other. I have 2 ss advengers One of wich is also more worn than the other. The last two are just regular avengers but one is ESP plastic and the other FLX. I also carry multiple MRV's, And Ace race/impacts. Some are never used but are in my bag as back up disc incase I loose one.
