Video

I have heard a good bit about Cam Todd. Does anyone know where I can find some video of him playing online? It is my understanding that he is one of the great putters and I would like to see it.

I think he quit playing before they inventing video cameras.

Okay, maybe that's not the case, but I've never seen any footage of him, (nor pictures) until his recent return. I since starting disc golf over 4 years ago I always wondered what this dude had looked like. Everybody always had stories about him. Anyway, now I have seen some new pictures, but still no video.

Quick search of youtube found nothing either, but I am sure it's got to be out there.

He starts the disc at his belly then pushes through. He'll tell you to imagine yourself throwing a pebble into the basket and not to put any spin on the disc. He calls me a spin putter.

There's a VHS of 2001 Worlds (Minnesota). He won. They show the Final 9 and a few highlights from the rounds.

I watched the KC Wide several years back (just one round) and Cam and Steve Rico were on the same card at Swope. They were playing one of several holes that heads back up the hill towards the clubhouse. Cam had about a 70 footer and some guy was right behind the basket. Just as he went to putt, the guy moved! Cam didn't get mad, he just stopped for a second and then re set. Just as he is about to putt, the same guy decides to move again. This time, Cam says "just stand still, you don't have to move". The guy freezes like a statue, and Cam makes the long putt! He never lost it, which I have heard was unusual for back then!

I cant remember but I think I was also watching Ron. Where you on that card Ron??? :?

Yep. Cam is one of the fastest putters I've ever seen. I don't mean how hard he throws, but how quickly he sets up and putts once he reaches his lie. I was about 8 feet behind Cam in the second picture. The guy moving might have been me. Several times after clearing my disc or approaching my lie, I got surprised by Cam throwing in another great putt, before I was out of the way. By the KC event Cam had settled down a great deal. I'm sure he still doesn't suffer fools gladly, but he is a lot more patient than he used to be.
