Trying to plan a trip to CO. Wanted to go over the 4th of July, but it may have to wait until later this Summer.

Doing some research on dgcoursereview.com & milehighdiscgolf.org. Huge list of courses, but I've come up with a short list of what looks like the best ones to hit up.

*Ft. Collins- Edora
*Red Feather- Beaver Creek
*Red Feather- Sundance
*Arvada- Badlands
*Conifer- Beaver Ranch
*Pine- Phantom Falls

In CO, I've only played the 2 Colorado Springs courses, Pueblo City Park (loved this one), & Johnny Roberts. All in winter time.

I haven't actually talked to anyone yet that has played CO courses. Which ones have you all played and how did they rate?

All the sweetest courses are in the mountains.

However, out of the courses I've played.

Badlands, Johnny Roberts, Birds nest, Pessimist in Ft. Morgan is pretty good, but I think its a temporary course.

Willis said they are opening Ghost Town up to the public pretty soon and he loves that course, Its right outside of Denver I'll get some more details on that.

If you are seriously planning on being near northern denver, Mike, I strongly suggest you hit up Ghost Town. I can get you directions and a contact # if you think you'll go. You need to call him first. $3/rd. $5/all day. It's nestled between Idaho Springs and Central City. Love this tourney/course. 5000-B(ees).

Isn't there a course somewhere near Leadville? I played with a guy named Shawn at the Gentlemen's Club Challenge, and he owns a bar there named Rosie's, (I think that was the name)

is frisco still playable or did they pull it due to beatles?

LOL. friggin brits HATE disc golf. lets try "beetles." now, anyone know if the course is still playable?

Yes, I heard it is installed and playable. Not nearly as tough as the tunnel shots before, but still a fun course. Or so they say...

i've got a couple goodies for you. Sakuna Pines in Black Forest is where i play most. it's in a tight forest with some good elevation. Pueblo city park is beautiful. Beaver Ranch in Conifer is a good mountain course. I've heard good things about Leadville, Ft. Collins' courses, sudance or sunset close to Ft. Collins. western CO is said to have nice ones as well.

Ok, looks like this is going to happen. I'll be up on the 18th of July and leaving the 21st. Decided to stick with these courses.

I'd rate Edora 4 out of 10. There's nothing special about the course, mostly flat and wide open.

Is Birds Nest in Arvada better? Heard the grass was grown over there. Already played Johnny Roberts. Probably staying in Ft. Collins Saturday and Sunday night, so that seemed convenient.

i like bird's nest but still not great. i haven't been to ft. collins. yet

Why would you go to CO to play city courses? Go to the mountains, Vail, Breckinridge, etc. Many of the ski resorts have courses. I know at Vail you take the Gondola to the top to play the course.
