In no particular order.

When do they start the first round? Haven't heard much this year. How many courses do the pro's play and what are they like? Any good links?

Nikko
Doss
Anthon
Rico
Feldberg
I'm hoping that Feldberg's fingernail is healed, if not, I'd take Shultz or Climo instead.

Who I'd pick would depend on what kind of courses they are playing. Last years Worlds was a prime opportunity for Avery. Doss can do well anywhere, but does espescially well on wooded courses. Etc.

Map to the gold course is not usuable. It looks like many of the holes follow the same track as the silver course. But they use different tee pads & different baskets? Guess they can't play that one the same time as the silver. So 5 courses, but only 4 at a time. Schedule seems to confirm this.

NW Indiana, not too far from Chicago.
For the courses, red & blue have pics on DGCR. White & silver with just a couple, gold with none. From the descriptions & pics, it looks like these courses are moderately wooded. Definitely more than we are used to, but not tree hell. Gentle hills- not flat, but nothing crazy. Definitely looks challenging. One tough course (gold & silver), one easy course (white), & 2 pretty tough ones if the pins are set long (red & blue). Handful of bomber holes on average for each course. Lot as long as KC, but certainly longer than Kalamazoo. Accuracy will be more important than distance, it looks like. Lots of straight tunnel shots & plenty of lefty holes.
The players & Tuesday tee times.

Atwater-Taylor playing with Nikko first round. That could be good or bad.
Jason Smith, Robert Sandrick, & Brent Koontz are the only 1000+ rated players from Indiana. Didn't see any from Illinois. I guess I'll go with something like this...
1: Doss
2: Feldberg
3: Locastro
4: Schultz
5: Anthon
6: Barsby
7: McCabe
8: Climo
9: Leiviska
10: Lundmark
11: Rico
12: Orum
13: Brinster
14: Sexton
15: McBeth

PDGA did something right!
Watch the video on the home page. They have Crazy doing the interviews and videos. This will be worth watching for sure.

I've put together a PDGA World's "March Madness" like bracket. Feel free to fill one out and track your progress.
View bracket here
How seeding was determined...
1. Players had to make the A Pool after the first round today.
2. Players were then ranked by their player rating.
3. Players with the same rating were then ranked by their first round score.
4. A cutoff was made at 64. Josh Dobelstein, rated 976 is the lowest rated player.
How players will advance.
The players must score better than their head to head opponent in that round. Actual round 2 tomorrow, will be round 1 in the bracket. Actual round two will be bracket round 2. The player with the worst score of the two is eliminated, (even if they go on to eventually win Worlds). So if Josh Dobelstein beats Dave Feldberg by even 1 stroke tomorrow, Dave is gone from the fantasy bracket.
In the event two head to heads in the same round tie, the tie will be broken by...
1. Cumulative tournament stroke score up to that point (including their round 1 score).
2. If they're still tied, by the lower seed number. (Gotta break the tie somehow).
