Midwest Collegiate Disc Golf Championships

I would like to thank everyone who came out today for the Midwest Collegiate Disc Golf Championships. The weather was great (wind picked up a bit in the 2nd round) and even though the team title was kind of put away early, UNI made up much ground in the afternoon. Individual honors were a bit tighter, with Eric Winkleman pulling away from the crowd on the Gold Course. Here are some results.

Hopefullly we can get some Kansas schools to compete next year. College Team disc golf is just in its infancy, and has a totaly different tournament feel when college teams are playing as a team to win a title. I think it will grow.
