Surge Color Stability
Hey i've thrown a bunch of these and i've noticed that the first run Red or Orange Surges fly with the most control and distance. I throw these further than any other. My blue one i use to have was super freegin stable too just so you know. I have a second run white surge that flies the best out of my second runs. That's my input on those crazy surges.

You guys need to make your own chart. Include colors, runs, etc. Measure in hundredths rather than tenths for the stability rating. Ex. 2.64 fade.
I think the system needs to be modified. I've thrown mids that are more overstable than any driver. That may have to do with the grip though. And then their is the high speed vs. low speed fade.
I think that until we design something to launch a disc uniformly, the stability will remain a matter of opinions and largely non-communicable. As soon as such a device is created, everyone will probably want to go out and golf with it!

The device could be like a mortar launcher. It would have a groove for the disc to slide through on the inside of a tube. There would be a spring load on one side that would both apply the spin and launch the disc. You could change the pitch of the tube and the hyzer/ anhyzer angle of the inner groove.
The disc would fly for miles? The targets would be in the air. How many rings could you should through?
Would you use an ESP Surge? If so, what color? J/K. You'd probably need something rediculously overstable. I could see something being devised to launch many times further than the human throw.
Why throw a disc, when you can program a launcher? Maybe this leads to the reason why no motivation is behind creating such a device?

Are you high Mikey?
We talked about this the other day here. Need a ginormous spring and we'll make a huge version of a clay pigeon thrower. The arm would need to be about 10 feet long though

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
