One more destroyer story....
The destroyer lived up to its name! Hole #2 at Lakeside (282, line of trees in front of the target, bandshell left). My 13-yr old son uses a light pole just left of target as his aim point and the shot goes right at it. Looks like it's going over but hits a plastic decorative piece on the top! Sheers it off (breaking the glass light cover), keeps going through the trees, lands 10 feet from the hole & he putts out for the two. Not so much as a scratch on the disc!
Yes, we let the parks dpt. know & they fixed the light before the Scottish Festival. No bill yet!

Another Destroyer Story,
At 2:35pm on 09/22/2007 I stepped up to the #4 short tee at oak park and threw my orange destroyer. Halfway down the fairway i said OOHSH*T and just watched it sail into a perfect fade. Then there was a cloud of dust from it hitting the dirt and straight into the basket. The crazy part was that I was leaving the park going to play Valley Center and then some friends pulled up so I stayed and played with them. They are just casuals so no 50to1 from them, but I did get 3 autographs on my destroyer.
Does anybody know of any other aces with a destroyer?
