The new retooled version of the XL in FLX is here!Labeled 1.5 stability instead of 1.2 ,this XL is much better looking than the first try.I plan on testing it out today :D Let you know the results.

OK I ordered Z ,ESP ,and FLX versions of the XL to test at the same time. The results were sort of suprising or not.
1st ,it appears that "Z" plastic has changed slightly ...and for the better! Look at the next "Z" discs you order!
In order of stability FLX,Z ,ESP!This is also the results DISCRAFT achieved.(as noted by the stability rating on the FLX of 1.5!)Z and ESP were pretty close, with Z being slightly the more stable of the two.
The FLX was a little flatter feeling, but nothing like the last FLX offering.By the way, the disc I tested was red.I expect this to become one of my favorites after a short break in period.Let you know in a few weeks.NO Smitty, I had to order the FLX  .It just happened that I was talking with Brian at Discraft when he mentioned that they had solved the production problems!Hopefully now we can see a FLX DRONE!!

I looked a couple of these at the topeka tournament, and just didn't like the feel. They felt like they had a ton of esp plastic in them and weren't very flexible. I haven't thrown one, but from some other reviews people have said they're stable pigs.. some even said pred stable when thrown right. What do you think?

The orange one that I have is dead straight when you throw it with about 275 feet of power. When you start to put some juice on it, I really like it for a turnover disc. Austin threw it last night also and it flew the same for him. Oh, almost forgot, I bent it in half and then let it straighten out and it flew just like it had previously.

mothrows..i also have an flx xl that is orange that is way understable at high speed..more understable than a leopard..
i have found a place in the bag for it tho..a hole that you need to go 150-200 ft then turn right on a pretty good ani and finish right without coming out at the finish..i just aim at the spot then throw it full power with at least 40 degrees of hyser..then watch it turn like a stratus at 200 ft and finish right..

 No, actually the Ace Race disc is a variation of the Storm!(this year) It is much thinner and Much faster than a wasp. The Ace Race disc is slightly faster and because of the cross-hatching under the lip, strangely stable.(I didn`t say overstable!)I liked it and was pleasantly suprised at how long it would go straight. 8)

Wow, it sounds like the one you have is even more understable than mine.
