Well, I threw a Force yesterday and I can't say I'm impressed with it.

I threw a new 173 Force and an ESP Surge. The Force was obviously more stable and did get more skip, but the bottom line is they flew about the same distance-which was not very far.

Got my "orange Forces a couple days ago and just got out last nite to throw them....... STABLE!!!!! Really stable, tried to turn them over... they run alright, not bad!! And then I get out a brand new Surge (black... It turned over, right into the river at Herman....... (Black, so I couldnt see $h!t... So............ I would say the Force is good for windy days, little faster than the Crush-Flick.......... 8)

I find it interesting that different colors fly differently. And, if it is so obvious, which it is, then why don't they note that on the stability rating of the stamp, or the description? I think it would be like selling a 165g disc as a 175g disc... they will fly noticeable different. I have thrown different colors and there seemed to be at least .3 difference between them. Anyway, I like the force, but there isn't a place in the bag for it... gotta stick with the destroyer.....

I might have to change my vote on the Force. The one I ordered arrived today (174 Yellow) and I got a couple BOMBING anhyzers out of it. There was a strong left to right sidewind, though.

A quick talk about colors. The amount of pigment that is used varies with each color. The amount of filler or weight enhancer ( for want of a better word) which goes into the plastic (to offset the pigment )also changes the way the plastic shrinks as it leaves the mold ! I`ve maintained that this is a controllable benefit, allowing Discraft to "tune" the stability of it`s Discs flight within each model!
On the Force and colors . So far it`s been run in 4 general release colors .Orange and Bright Green seen to be more stable.
White is a solid middle of the road stability
and,Yellow is least stable and potentially longest.
The team release is lower stability Bombers :D
Now to brag . I got a 2 on hole 12 at Ponca Lake! using a team release Force 3/26/08 So far it`s my longest 2! These dudes bomb!

I bet that is the crazy 650+ headwind hole. I don't remember there being an anny route on that hole from the tee unless you played it really wide and tall.
