A guy I throw with made a similar reference, and I threw his and flipped the hell out of it, maybe it's in the arm speed? But I do have the most stable one I have ever thrown in my bag right now, It has been flattened even more from months of being smashed, and takes a bit to flip, but still no where near as overstable as a Pred, I'm not seeing that possible.will.wa wrote:I threw one of these for the first time a couple days ago and it was nearly as overstable as a predator.
You could call Dennis at Discs Unlimited, I'm sure he's got tons and would be more than willing to describe some for you, or you can go to Sunkingdiscs and pick online, he shows a picture of each style/color he has on the website under Discs/Discraft/Supercolor.but anyone know if there's a whole line of these getting shipped out? It's impossible to order online now, not sure what I would end up with.

It all depends on speed, spin, and flight path technique.
For max D (with a tail / crossing wind), an tall anny or hyzer flip with a huge angle is necessary. Especially with the hyzer flip technique, an understable disc is necessary to get the maximum potential of our flight for the 99% of us that can't throw 600 feet. For those that can throw this far, playing a more overstable disc would yield better distance and better consistancy. That said, even smaller arms can fly a surge farther than a spectra many times because the control (choice of flight technique) is easier. For max D though, I think understable is the better choice.
