Always looking and thinking when I am out playing. When I am by myself, I will even get off the beaten path and explore a little more of the terrain and see what I can find.
Here a few changes that I would "suggest" lets get some discussion rolling.
Hole 1- Put in a longer pin. I know the old one was destroyed by the tree. I also think we could put one in down on the flat and kind of make it an anhyzer shot. Find the perfect spot where it will not interfere with 2 and 3.
Hole 2- I really like the long hole. Only problem is that with a perfect drive, you normally have a long putt. I have found a kick butt spot for an even longer pin (it would be shared with 7). I really think it would turn this great hole into an Epic hole. Not only would you have to pure the drive, you would be forced to throw a controlled upshot and still make a putt.
Hole 3- Only option I really see is a short pin. We could put it as close to the edge as possible and clean out the trees behind it. Maybe on the same line as the current short pin. Then shorter throwers could have a chance at going at the other pins.
Hole 4- There isn't much room here. I do think we could do another shared pin location with 16. Take the line that you throw to the short pin on 16 and go just past the edge of the trees. The ground slopes away here and it would be a perfect spot for an elevated "Cherry Street" type basket.
Holes 5 and 6, I got nothing.
Hole 7- Play to the basket I mentioned on hole 2. Once again the current long pin is just a prayer putt for most great shots. This would force you to throw an accurate upshot also.
Hole 8- Clear out the line to 6's left pin. I do think this could cause some confusion with 6.
Hole 9- Dead behind the tree and about 80 feet past. Or the same shot as the right pin, only to the left instead. Force an overstable skip shot.
Hole 10- As it is now, all people do is crush a disc into the back tree. I have found a spot on the edge of the creek behind a huge Hedge tree that would be pretty sweet.
Hole 11, 12, 13 I really don't know if and where the alt sleeves are.
Hole 14 I think it might be kind of cool to put it in the middle of the gap and up the hill. Turn it into a lefty power hyzer/roller hole.
Hole 15 Don't really know?
Hole 16 suggestion above.
Hole 17 - I always skip, because I don't want to walk back.
Hole 18- Is there an alt? Don't know what to do with this one either. Push it back into the corner as far as we can? It is kind of in the collection zone now.
Hole 19 - All the alts. are good.
Didn't play the water holes today. So I didn't do any scouting on that side of the park.
Discussion now open.

Re: Camp Hawk Ideas
Your ideas about hole 2 and hole 7 are what good par 4's are all about. Wish we had more holes like these.
Only kind of hole I like more than that are holes with 2 or more distinct fairways that also play as 2 controlled shots required to get a birdie 3.

I like 2 idea
Is 7 the flick across the creek and up the hill?
Draw me a picture dude. I play there about once every 1-2 months but idk all the hole numbers. But the ones I do know sound like they would be fun. I'll look next time I play.

Yes that is 7. The idea for 2 would make that hole awesome on so many different levels!kscustom wrote:I like 2 idea

2 more idea.
Hole 1 I looked at the short anhyzer and I like it. There is a triangle of trees that are pin high that would be perfect.
Hole 3 move the tee back about 80 feet. There is a perfect spot kind if close to basket 2. Would be a cool hole short of the creek. A little flooky to the longer pins.
