LRDGC WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

We could use basket '2' for hole '8' (temp fix), make an interesting hole for a day. Also, will we push back the time of start any later due to summer hours? I hear a few guys can't make 5:00, but say they could do a five thirty+. Usually if someone is late, one of the groups will wait up for them, never really been an issue. Figured I'd hit it up.

That was one idea that I had Matt. Another was to simply skip hole 8 altogether, and since I have my practice basket in my trunk put it down on the back side of the levee by the water and we would put a temp hole between 11 & 12 for the day. We would tee from that "top" area of the levee in the corner that some of us have suggested would be a good alternate tee for 12.

Haven't heard back from the city via e-mail, so I'm going to head down to the course to check the status. If anyone wants to get a pre-league tag round with me about 3:30ish, hit me up on the course.

Well, we gave the Krap Yerac course an honest go. Six dared the elements and showed up. A doubles format was decided and teams were chosen. Then a seventh showed up and we let him buy in to the ace pot.

It started to rain, and then it stopped. We got through five holes. On KY Hole #6 (off the top of the levee south of the concrete thingies to regular 12's basket), Jeff Updegrove's drive hit the chains dead center, and then didn't stick. It would have been worth around $160, but he collected a few 51 George Washington's as a consolation prize.

And then it started to rain, and we didn't think it was going to let up so we called it a round.

So we headed back to the parking lot, and then it stopped.

And after it stopped, five of us decided to do a casual round for tags. After three holes, it started raining again, so I stopped and started tearing down.

We are considering doing Buhler the following Wednesday. We would do a 5:30 start that day so people have a little extra time to get up there. Please give Darren some feedback if you attend next week.

Since Mother Nature wouldn't let me play tonight, I decided to head home and do some finalizing on the new LRDGC scrip. These will be distributed to Am players for the first time in Little River next Sunday. Hope you like 'em. (Note, the fives don't have any cool silver ink, that's just an unintended effect from the flash of my s--tty camera).





And if you're holding any of the old vouchers, not a problem, they're always good.

I like the effect of your s--tty camera Scott. I have seen the real deal and they are super cool also, kinda makes me want to play am so i can collect a few of my own.
now lets talk Buhler I say we give it a run if everyone is in agreement june 12,2013 sounds like a great time to try it out. if we all like it as much as i do maybe we can talk about rotating it in to the league on monthly basis. (something to discuss when were all togeather) anyway i will catch everyone on Sunday at Konen Creek or next wednesday in hutch
