Re: Cherry Street
I've got a couple trees to transplant down to Cherry St.
I was thinking hole 1 needs a tree...
and then either hole 3, 4, 7... not sure which hole could most use a new tree.
Thoughts?

Re: Cherry Street
I think hole 7 would be a good choice for a new tree.

Re: Cherry Street
Got to play Cherry St for the first time since the upgrade tonight. The red buckets are great. Hit a windy putt on hole 6. Love that basket. Hit the cage on a big hyzer shot on hole 7.
Is the water or across the sidewalk OB on hole 9?
Only found a couple of long tees. One was a blue painted buried board. The other (hole 1) was a circular block.
The park looks as great as ever. For trees, holes 4 and 8 seemed wide open. But I was just playing the concrete tees.

Re: Cherry Street
Mike- I wish the silver baskets would have been in the ground for you to play. I haven't had an open weekend since the Friz to get them from Harvs yard and put them back in the ground. In fact, I haven't stepped foot in the park since a month before the friz.
There is no water anywhere in Cherry Street park, so don't know where you landed.

Re: Cherry Street
It may be just running water after a recent rain. Right by #9's basket, coming from under the bridge. Continues onto #1's fairway, but more narrow. I played it casual.
Re: Cherry Street
Casual is correct!

Emery and I put all the baskets back in the ground.
Anyone down for an ace race on the first?

Anymore thoughts on this idea?

Re: Cherry Street
Probably not a big production. Just some guys out hunting that first ace of the year.
Maybe turn it into an 18 hole layout for the day. I am usually involved in a $5 cross the state bet for the first Ace. Layout some flags and go at it.
Could do $10 entry fee.
$5 to the Ace fund
$5 to the payout
---Metal basket and above counts as a make.
---So you can still run at the basket from all over the park.
