Dont include me Shan, I'm busy this week and probaly the next 10.
Do you know if anybody got any poison ivy from playing at the grove last week?
I know that me, Burton,Birdwell, & Burley was walking all around in it, Hole 16 just south of the basket had about a 4 foot wall it and it was taking over the tree that is there, my meteor went in there and I wasnt about to fetch after it.
Never, under any circunstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxitive the same night.

So we have our biggest league in recent history and nobody wants to post about it? We really had 30 people? Cool! What score won? Did anybody talk to the people at Quaker Haven for next week? What is the back up plan?

A/B pools two teams in at -14

Harv and Mike D and I don't know the other team.
Several teams at-13 went to a playoff. Burley and Cameron from El Dorado won that playoff. Ronnie and Shan finished 2nd because Shan made a killer putt. Stun and I forgot his name missed their putt.

It was fun to go A/B pool. We had atleast 6 kids HS age or less. Plus a couple of newbies. It was a good league for sure.

There were like 21 people on Wed. Stun and Tbone won at 5 down. There was also a 3,2,2,2,1, and +1.

We were seperated into A and B pools. A pool had slim pickings since they had to put me in it. :o

Next week is Tick Ranch. Must be 18 or older to play this week.

I am not sure if I am liking the idea of the nobody under 18 can play rule. If somebody isn't comfortable about playing a certain course with kids, then we the club should not be playing it. Only the way kids are going to learn is to watch somebody that is better then they are. That means they must play adults. Thats how I learned and still learning by playing people that are older and better then I am. I am not out there to make money each week, I am there to have a good time and play with other disc golfers in the area. I want the kids to have a good time just like us adults that are there just to have a good time do. If the kids can't be polite and halfway respectable then they shouldn't playing with us anyhow. But for the most part the kids that do come and play with us are just fine. I encourage more kids to come out play and learn the sport. I wish I started at a younger age, disc golf is a lifetime sport and it should start with being a child. Sorry if anybody disagrees with me, I am just getting this off my chest.

I understand where you are coming from, I would like to see a lot of new players come, including kids. I don't go to league to make money and I don't mine playing with kids either, but I do go and play league on Wednesday to get away from my kids and enjoy some adult time. On the subject of playing certain courses we have always played different courses through out the year and some of them probaly can't be played by a younger player. You don't have a kid play on an adult softball team do you or any other sport that adults play? I like the idea during the tournament about having the junior divison tourney for them. Even if we were to set a certain week each month for having kids playing with us is fine with me, but since I started going to league it has always been an adult league. It is one night a week where we can go out and enjoy ourselves maybe talk a little vulger, drink and do other things we can't mention online. I'm not trying to be rude but that is the way I feel about it.
