Went down to the trails yesterday and did some looking around. Everything is in really good shape. I also plan on adding an additional hole, like none that I have ever played before, could be kind of interesting.

See you all on Saturday.

Thanks to everyone that showed up to support this event, I had a blast playing one sweet arse course, the food was great and very plentiful. My hats off to Smitty and the other Winfield crew for all the hard work they put in to make this event go off without a hitch!
It will surely be a very sad day when Smitty moves away, you have been a great ambassador for this sport. The "Valley" won't be the same without you my friend.

I little windy and a chilly breeze, but I think everyone who played had an Awesome time. I really wish that Winfield could put that course in on a full time bases. I know all the Winfielders would be much better golfers. It really is a complete course with all the shots that you could want. The only thing it is really missing in the smashing hyzer and anhyzer shot. If it has any negatives, it is probably all the dead nuts straight shots.

First I need to give a huge thanks to all my WVDGA boys! Without you guys I would have been running around like crazy, and couldn't have pulled this event off. Shan, Cliff, Boebo Fett (is that better), Chris Tyler, Daldo, Burley, Ben, MonDoore, Twitch, Z-man, Artimus Prime. You guys kick butt! Helping sign people in, bringing more food then we could eat, cleaning up the course. THANKS!!!

Second big thanks to Maceman. Taking care of all the KDGA stuff. Ordering all the KDGA Discs, Food Drive Discs, Shirts, and all the other little things you do that go unnoticed.

Thanks to all the people who hooked-up the CTP prizes: WVDGA, Dynamic Discs, Maceman, KDGA, Boebo, Hand Eye Corp.

Last of all thanks to the 25 people that made it out to play and help raise some money for the Winfield Food Pantry.

I wish that more people would think about running Food Drives next year. I love the fact that we just get a group of people together that love frisbee and enjoy each others company. While we are having a good time we are raising money and giving to the community. I really think it is Awesome that we are able to donate $18/person.

Participants:
Shan "Trucker Clock" Mann
Brandon "Maceman" Mace
Chris "Lorenzo Von Matterhorn" Tyler
Ben "Crash" Karr
Don "Mondoore" Moore
Chris "Rusty Trombone" Smith
Terry "Coolest Hippie in the Valley" Burley
Jeff "The Ringer" Ring
Brad "Bomb Dropper" Roeder
Ron "Older then Dirt" Convers
Mike "I love Winfield" Speer
Russ "Give me the points" Trice
Joe "Little Kanoli" ????
Steven "Twitch" Deere
Brandon "Jethro the Cop" Tull
Jared "Big Daddy Kanoli" Kintzel
Bill "The Legend" Paulson
Brandon "Swede" Nelson
Kindy "Big Sexxxy" Kane
Jason "Pironix" Adkins
Dal "Someday I will grow" Lockwood
Arty "Artimus Prime" Hicks
Brandon "Red" Rusk
Alex "The Z-Man" Zollman

The big winner of the day was the Z-Man. His name was pulled from the box of Food Drive participants and took home a brand new Chainstar. Congrats Z-man and way to keep it in the Valley!

Handeye Buzzz on 20(?). It's got T-bone and some other names on it. Since Alex is gonna find it anyway, he may as well keep it. Good shooting with ya, mini Z.

Really fun layout. Serious added cash and other booty on the CTP's. Great job Valley Crew, Smitty, and all who donated. And thanks to Boebo for lending me all his mojo for the second round.

I wish I would have done a better job recording what was in the CTPs.

I do know there was $75, 20 discs, 15ish shirts, the greatest coffee cup of all time, several minis, candy, and of course 1 adult beverage.

That cup alone was worth the trip.
