I think they would simply be A,B, &C. So we don't have to move baskets.

Can't tell if you are bragging or making a joke, Mike. How long are we talking, inches or feet?

Feet. Once those silver maples get big, they require a lot of maintenance. I figure I'll chop these two in front of my house this winter. They've got to be too big to transplant; I'd imagine the roots are too big to cut out.

All this talk about transplanting is geating me excited, I am sure there are a few profesional transplanters out there that can help.

We now have 3 new sleeves at Cherry Street. Cam and I are going to rob a few baskets from the Grove and stick in there for now.

Behind the backstop.
The Island
4 long (basically where it was a CSDGC)

May do CSDGC hole 14 area and a sleeve on 7 this weekend.

We did try a new method on the cement, we will see if it works. The bag said it was a great way to set fence posts etc. Just filled the hole most of the way to the top with the mix, then dumped the water on the top.

The current plan for tee will be to play the backstop hole from 5's tee and the island hole from the same place we did during CSDGC.

I do this all the time. It works well. Usually I don't even add water on top.

The holes did play pretty sweet.

Long 4 is pretty sweet.

Twitch is right the backstop hole is sweet. We played it from 5's tee and it was killer. It may be the new hole at the CSDGC instead of the dugout.

The island hole is still a work in progress. I plan on digging up all the stones on the course and marking out the Island. I would like to think that in the future we could build a real island out of landscape timbers and fill it with wood chips. That would be sweet. Next time you are at the park look at the swings and the landscape they have there. It would be perfect, and I think I may be able to sell it to the City.

If it means less area to mow, I'd bet they'd be for it.

Yeah go ahead and raise the island hole up off the ground....I just learned how to skip onto the island...Just what I need, the island shot to be harder to land on. (just saying, based on past experience). Ha. If it turned out half as nice as hole 6's basket looks it will be awesome. I am excited to see/play the course with the additions/changes.
