The course was kick butt! No pitch and putt this weekend. The signature hole was a bad mother par 4/5. You had to lay-up off the tee, then go over the water or lay-up again.

There was only 1 3 on the hole. It was sweet! A true golf hole.

I only had one person complain about it. The other 15 loved it. This is the direction that disc golf needs to head.

Do you see Tiger break out a putter on every second shot??

We will throw in 1/2 of the handicap Ace fund. Since we are playing at the Grove.

Half of 122.00 isn't bad.

Yes it was going to include both.

Shan hit basket on hole 5, so the fund stands for another day.

We had 2 new faces to league, and I think they both had a good time. Chris Tyler and Joel both came out and played. Thanks fellas.

Well me and my dad are putting in 9 alternates tomorrow (with 2by4's). So if you all make it down we can play atleast 18 different holes. I also have some ideas for a couple up into my yard. So we can play a good 22 if you all stop by.

Smoothdraw-

We will have to check with big Rich to see what is up.

What works good for the tees, is to drill a 1/2 inch hole into the wood, then pound a 18 inch chunk of 5/8 rebar (SP????) into the hole.

JC-

We always try to start at 6:00, so probably 6:20 or later.

Smitty,

Are you talking about drilling a hole in the end or the side of the 2 x 4? I am helping them out with the new holes; we might have to use your alt. number 1.

Todd-

What I used was a yard tember. They are treated and cost about 6 bucks. You can get two or three tees out of each one.

Then I drilled a hole from 1 flat side to the other. Dug the ground down, so the mower would roll over the top, and pounded them into the ground.

You could probably get the same effect by stacking 2 2X4's on top of each other. I think that just 1 2X would fall off the rebar, and I don't know if it would ever stay in the ground with out it.
