Food Drive Feb 27
Re: Food Drive Feb 27
Is anyone going to volunteer to bring Chili, or are we all just going to eat Jerry's.
I can hear it now:
"Here is your Bean."
"You get just a little bit of soup."
"Do you want a piece of burger or a bean?"
Man we are going to be hungry.

Nice!
The Chili contest is heating up.
I plan on wheeling some of the holes this weekend. I still need to finalize the design and find a couple more baskets.

Are we going to have a flyer? I talked to bearded Jason and he said we could probably put one up at the coffee shop.

Looks like my work schedule has changed I think I'll be able to make this one... I have a Discatcher Sport and a Mach Lite you could use...
Re: Food Drive Feb 27
Bring them if you have room.
We will just swap out and try and get as many good baskets as we can get.

Going to throw, measure, and make some final changes to the course.
I plan on heading out there around 3:30. If anyone wants to check it out and help, come on out.

Re: Food Drive Feb 27
This course will not be the same putt putt course it was last year. There are a few holes that are going to allow you to open up and drop a bomb. More holes on the dike and in Island Park this year. I think that people will like the course better then last years.
Distances and short description:
Hole 1- 780
Very long slight dog leg to the right. Tons of trees in the way.
Hole 2- 356
Pretty much a standard disc golf hole. Low, ceiling shot. Should be easier for a lefty.
Hole 3- 186
Weird little hole. Going to force you to throw a stall shot of sorts. You have to make it finish right, that is going to be the trick.
Hole 4- 330
Another standard hole. Good shots for both right handers and left handers. Once again plenty of trees to hit.
Hole 5- 115
Tees off the road and over the water. Clearing the water isn't going to be the problem. There is an OB Sidewalk behind the basket, that is going to be the problem. The basket is going to be very close to the water. I really think there will be more 3's and 4's, then 2's for sure.
Hole 6- 190
Same hole as last year. Under the sign and into the trails. Dead straight.
Hole 7- 190
Same fairway as last year. The basket will be in a different and very unique spot. Sharp dog leg right.
Hole 8- 175
New hole. Tees from the trails to the top of the dike. The basket will be close to the backside downward slope of the dike.
Hole 9- 450
Will tee from the top of the dike, back into the trails. Once in the trails, you will have about 300 feet to a narrowing fairway and basket.
Hole 10-135
Another short straight hole that I don't think will give up a ton of 2's. You are going to have to thread the needle, and if you do you are probably going to hit the bucket. 100 feet down the fairway you have to hit a doorway (split two trees), then in another 20 feet you must pass the tunnel of love (vines growing over and between two trees).
Hole 11- 270
Snake hole for sure. The fairway will force you to go right, left, and then finish right.
Hole 12- 290
Perfect tunnel shot. Plenty of room right and left and plenty of ceiling.
Hole 13- 335
Wide Open, then the basket is going to be on a very steep upward slope at the end.
Hole 14- 650
This is a killer hole. Very narrow flat landing zone, that will be important to hit. The basket will also be on a nasty slope. If you score a 4 on this hole, you are going to be extremely happy.
Hole 15- 325
Anhyzer shot for most of us. I have a feeling it will be the biggest disc eater on the course. The dike will be on the left and the lagoon will be along the right. Right is also lined with trees that will force the anhyzer. There could be a death hyzer, don't know for sure.
Hole 16- 245
Should be a deuce. The only problem could be the narrowing fairway at the end.
Hole 17- 370
Low anhyzer or roller will probably be the shot of choice. OB road along the left so turn that sucker over.
Hole 18- 260
Standard golf hole. Hyzer for most people.

Re: Food Drive Feb 27
I plan on getting there a little after seven to help out also, I will bring a tarp and a heater. I will also make sure we have power to the building for our cooking purposes. Tylers tarp, my tarp and a couple more we should be able to keep away from any wind if we need to.
Never, under any circunstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxitive the same night.
Re: Food Drive Feb 27
Sounds great, thanks fellas.
