The 1st annual membership was a success!

Chad and Scooba could give the official numbers, but I know we had several first time members sign up and play in the tourney.

I heard someone talk about this event as a "club championship". If this is what we want, we'd have to advertise this better in the future, but I think the time of the year is perfect. Maybe we could have a seperate event that was play to play and one round at each course?

Ron Unruh is your "Club Champion" He shot 50 on the short Oak course.

Lenny won masters with 53.
Wade and his friend tied with 56 for 1st in advanced.
Bo and his friend tied with 63 for 1st in novice.
Lacey won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the womens division.
Plamen won Juniors with 67. He beat Kyle by 4 strokes!!

Ben Maass won the run for the roses.

Hunter "Mohawk" Stuber played Juniors. Though he didn't shoot the best round, I heard a lot of good things about this young lad. He always knew exactly what his score was for each hole he played. He carried 10 discs the whole full length round that were just about as heavy as he is. He kept his empty bottles in his bag for half of the round until he found a trash container. Most of all, he was very excited to be playing, no matter what he scored on any hole!! I heard that by the end of the round, he was crushing his rollers all the way down the fairway.

And Buddy Kasner shot an ace on hole #11. It was the most perfect flick skip shot I have ever seen. Too bad it was only worth $50! He was still happy though. :D

Boy that kid can roll, where did he learn that? Oh yeah I taught him :D He had a blast, his first time actually playing with the other kids. He played a round with the Unruh kids today, he is really starting to get into it. Well probably be seeing him a little more often. :D
