Lea McCloud and the group of folks who meet to keep the momentum going on the Fresh Air Baby Camp (Scout House) renovation are constantly looking for little ways to raise money to pay for the substantial cost for this project. She ran this idea by me....
Tournament on St. Patricks day (Sat, March 17th) at Herman Hill Park. She says they would be able to sell beer, likely even get the WATER center as well.
I know there would be plenty of people willing to come. Just got to work out the details. There is a lot of flexibility with this event. A different format could draw more interest? If you are interested in directing this event, you will have the support of the club, and I will put you in contact with Lea. Please reply or send me a PM if you are interested.
