Why only pay 2 places? Sounds like you have enough to pay out 3 or 4.

You are planning on shortening up those holes I hope. We dont necessarily have to play the original course.

I say give the majority of the stuff to first place then maybe a couple discs to second after first place is supposed to win that whole package of goodies.

I thought that an ace race course was suposed to be short enough at all of the holes that there is a chance for even amatures could make the distance. also as i understand it the disc are usually prototype mid range drivers . so basicly all of the shots are to be long up shot drives. some thing that an amiture would feel like they have a chance as doing as well as a pro.

Which is why valley center will work out very well... several of the holes are already midrange shot holes that should give a good chance for that ace :x

Valley Center is a short course, but I plan on making most of the holes shorter yet.

Discraft wants the prize to go to first place only. I think second place should get something though, espescially if they hit an ace. Maybe we'll give 1st place more discs than second, like Sandman said.

Still have plenty of packs. Let me know and I reserve you one.

Out of 20 packs, I've sold 5.

Mike Schoenhofer
Randy Mattingly
Crispin Carrasco
Peter Mohr
Steve Volbruck

Those who have asked me to reserve a pack are...

Chad Garrison
Bob Decker
Miranda Fulton
Miranda's Friend
Jason Adkins
Josh Luinstra
Ben Wiggins
Robin Reimer

So I still have plenty to go around. I'll have the discs Tuesday or you can tell me to reserve them for you.

Since I knew I was forgetting someone, I thought I'd post a list and fish out the missing player. Yeah right. Got the list updated.

I'll Bring a few baskets if needed. I don't know if I can afford to play at this time, but will definitely be helping.

Assuming all 9 baskets are still in the ground, I thought we could just use the existing course. I'll show up early to flag out the shorter tees.

Still have plenty of packs. I will also have our new disc order with me.

See you at 10:00 this Saturday. We'll do lunch afterwards and maybe we can make up a fun doubles format for afterwards.

Still have 5 packs left.

Don't worry about not being able to hit an ace. I'm going to make some short holes!

See you tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for bearing with me as I was trying to figure out who was getting what today. I had no shows with reserved packs, and I was somehow 5 discs short. On top of that, we had 23 players show up. Had to have some people that already had packs from Wellington, sell me back their stuff.

All in all, I think we all had a pretty great time. Started out pretty darn chilly, but was pretty nice by midday. Got a sunburn myself.

Played two seperate sets of tees. Blues for the first two 9's averaged around 220' started long and got shorter throughout the 9. Red for the 3rd and 4th 9 averaged around 170'. Switched hole 9 though, which was only about 80' from blue.

23 players today. Chad didn't get any practice with his new disc, but hit an ace on the first hole of the event! Regular hole 4 tee. Crispin hit metal on hole 4 during the 3rd round. In the 4th 9, I hit hole 5 to tie it up. Surprised we didn't see any more aces.

See you all tomorrow and thanks for coming out!

We had lunch after the event. Ask Plamen about Subway Sam. You might see him on YouTube!

Then we came back and played some doubles. We played the first 9 from the regular tees. 2nd 9 was from the blue tees except hole 9.

Mike and Cali: -15
Crispin and Robin: -10
Jeff and Randy: -12+3=-9
Plamen and Shane: -6-3=-9
Don and Lloyd: -4-3=-7
