No. Nobody showed. And I wasn't in the mood to play a freezing cold round by myslef. Next weekend is looking like we are going to have a little better weather. Also, if there is no power tomorow I am not going to work. So I will be able to play golf all day.

There is a gamer round in Winfield next weekend for sure. A very unique course to say the least.

It is gamer round even in good weather.

What makes it a gamer rd even in good weather? What is the course like? Anybody that goes out and plays a rd of glow tonight would earn legendary Gamer status!

Playing in the freezing shizzle?

I might put on the rain coat and go to the woods and listen to the branches breaking and crashing down all around. That would be cool...

Climbing cliff made of loose, slick rocks. Thorns and Rose bushes in random spots. Tree roots that make a perfect hole for you foot, normally with a light covering of leaves. It is for sure a classic course.

Well, you lost me right off the bat when you said cliff with loose rocks. I'm more of a flat land to slightly hilly Gamer :) I don't have wings and although I'm fat, I don't seem to bounce that well when I hit the ground, so I stay away from heights whenever possible.

It sounds like rifle shots going off here every few minutes or so, with all of the tree limbs snapping off. Hopefully the power stays on!

Jordan and I played a gamer round yesterday. We played longs on both sides of the park. I shot a +3. I felt good about that considering frozen chains caused 3 or 4 spit putts.

It was awesome listening to all of the trees falling in the woods and on the course. I definetly did not take my time when I was under a big tree.

That is the "Y" shaped tree that gaurded the easy hyzer. The hole should be duecable from all tees to all pins now.

That's too bad about losing the treez. Gunner and I are hiding out in Concordia til the power comes back on.

Playing right now should get you gamer round status. Temps are nice but the razor sharp falling ice could kill you.

Any rd played between now and Saturday night would earn you Gamer status for sure. The combo of falling ice added on by snow tomorrow would make for a seriously nervous footing rd.

I'd be up for a round this weekend but I got gigs every day. Plus a yard to clean up. You bringing Gunner to the Mayors Christmas? Sunday @ 2 at the BiCenter. Free show, The Amazing Arthur, Coyote Joe, a raffle, and Santa. FREE!

That sounds like a good time. We'll definitely check it out if we're in town on Sunday. The Superhero isn't going to perform?
