Paying extra isn't an option in Winfield. We have someone stuck as cali most of the time. If somebody shows up before the round is over, they get stuck with the cali. That can be good or bad.

Eric has been Cali.....he didn't pay extra.....this was the first time since I started playing league that someone payed extra. I suppose if Eric wanted to pay twice he could have two throws. I think we would see something in the -16 range.....how sick would that be?

Going back through the league cards...Ryan, Tim, Muoio, and Don Carter have paid the extra and threw twice every shot. AND I think there have been others but I couldn't find the cards.

I think we should test Nate's -16 theory. Throwing two shots doesn't automatically give you a far superior score than your average. I've shot under par on the East side maybe 3 times and the best was maybe 4 under. But I guess that's why theories are made....you test them.

My bet is that I couldn't shoot -10 again maybe 1 in 10 times throwing 2 shots; every shot. But that's me...I'm sure EVERYONE* can shoot -10 throwing 2 shots. (*Extreme Sarcasm)

To reference the "I thought cali just got one extra shot per hole", yes that is true. But, ever since I've played here, the cali has been given the option of paying for another person and throwing 2 shots; every shot.

For the record, I have been Cali exactly ONCE.

Just saying I've seen Eric shoot 11 and 10 a couple times in SINGLES. Plus he has birdied every hole, multiple times on every one but 14. I think that if he is playing good golf, 16 is do-able. There was not even an insinuation that you played bad shooting 10 down. I highly doubt that I could do that. Even playing great golf with two throws on every hole.
As far as paying twice goes, in my 22 months of playing organized golf I do not recall anyone paying twice. Guess I should have worded that differently. No offence intended.

Sandman - none of my last post was toward anyone, and you definately didn't piss me off, no one did. I'm just trying to say that throwing 2 shots doesn't make your score that much better.
