Week 8:

Only three people showed up to play. We only had about 2 inches of snow on the ground, and there was zero wind. I don't know what the deal was. No discs were lost, thanks to an amazing 3 man hanging save on hole 8.

Smitty 49 (51)
Shan 55 (58)

Ace fund $50.00
Gen. fund $120.00

This may be interesting. I am going to drop the worst and best score for people have played 3 rounds. I will still figure the average based off of the last 5 rounds. This may help with "sandbagging".

Smitty 1.6
Grant 2.3
Harv 3 (Has only played 1 round)
Shan 3.6
Rich 8.3
Kevin L 7.6
Bowlby 7.5 (Has only played 2 rounds +6 and +9)
Kevin K 9, (Has only played 1 round)
Bart 9 (Good case here, he has played 3 rounds and would drop +16 & +8)
Cliff 11
Larry 11.5 (Another good example, he would drop a +24 & +4)
Monster D 13 (Has only played 1 round)
Dal 19.5 Only played 2 rounds
Brian -27 (Has only played 1 round)
Brent H 32 (Has only played 1 round)
Jeremy 32 (Has only played 1 round)

Since Rich is far too... up there to operate a computer I have to say that he should have won saturday.

He is old and ugly but he shot pretty good and only cheated once that i saw.

Some new guy shoots a friggin 73 and ends up with a forty seven!

Remind me to check out the caps next time.

twenty six foocking strokes!

Hey dude you're pretty good seven down in the wind and mud!

looks like Discrap will be calling soon.

That is what happens when you shoot 32 up the first time that you play and 19 up the next time. That does blow! We need to adjust it, but how?

75% instead of 85%

Drop your worst round once you have more then 1? (Wouldn't have helped today)

Drop your worst and best round when you have more then 2?

Drop the worst and the best of the last 5 rounds?

I am open to opinions. I want it to be fair to everyone that plays.

That is what is going to happen, if peoplle only have 1 round in. If you shoot hot the first few times you play, you will not win. If you shoot like crap, then you will win.

If each person is trying their best each round it shouln't matter. I have heard several people say "pad the handicap". I have watched people "give up" with 3 or 4 holes to go. It would be easy to go out and miss a few putts and leave some upshots short. It all boils down to being honest with yourself and the other players.

Sucks for Rich no doubt about it. I have had one of the top 2 scores every weekend and have only chashed 1 or 2 times.

When people are just learning the game, they are going to be all over the place. That is what happened here. Jeremy had a bad first round, then what is probably a good round for him.
