If you didn't start your last round, you don't get par plus 4. We use the PDGA rules of play.
Now Iqbal did something that maybe nobody in the history of disc golf has ever done. He played the first and last holes. So he took 7's on 16 holes.
I am going to contact the PDGA and see what the official ruling should be on that.
IQ did not play the first and last hole but played the last two holes.

He hit it during the last round, so over on the flat laid out area. It wasn't under/on top of the rock. I was lucky enough to be sitting up at hole 1 waiting to tee off and watched that sucker make a bee line for the basket!

Did you give him $5 when you passed him on the way to 2's tee?
Since Iqbal played the last 2 holes. He would be given par + 4 for all the holes he "missed".
Are those the biggest money aces of the year so far? Pretty sweet to hit an ace at the Rock!
By the way, I think getting $5 for players not on your card should be just a bonus. It's cool and I've given it, but you can't "expect" it by any means.
I don't expect it at all. I know that not everyone plays 5-1 and that's cool. Hitting the ace is thrilling enough. Getting money for it is a good bonus. Keeps you playing.
Is it common practice to give $5 when someone hits an ace in a tournament and there is already an ace pool? It's cool if that's the way it's done, I just didn't realize that was the tradition.
