I will be posting the holes later tonight. I just got the course measured tonight. We really like what we've got set up here. This will be a course that 'everyone' will remember and enjoy.
Last year I got a special rate for disc golfers at the Roadway Inn. It wasn't a Marriott or anything but it did have a pool and hot tub. I'll make a phone call tomorrow for that and see if I can get something hooked up.
Star Gremlin, Star XD, Star Goblin, and Star Classic Roc!!!! Even more to add to the list of awesome discs that will be available at the event. Don't miss out on this. Send me a PM of anyone who is counting on playing so I can keep updating the registration list.

HERE IS A VERY ROUGH DRAFT OF THE HOLES. I'll find a way to make it easier to read. If there are any changes they will be very minor.
#1) 678 ft. Tee pad #1 West to #17 basket East (short setting) (yellow basket). Tall grass OB
This hole will produce a few 3’s, quite a few 4’s, some 5’s, and then some. Throw a bomb righty hyzer to get a clean look at the basket. Then make it over the tall grass. Walk away with a three on this one and you are doing pretty good!
#2) (267 ft) Temp Tee south of #17’s fairway to #16 basket East (long setting) (yellow basket) Tall Grass OB--Drop zone on left fairway by trees.
Widened tee for equal lefty and righty shots. This is a tough little downhill shot with a small green. Throw short and you are OB throwing for three at the drop zone. Throw left and OB on the road. Throw too long and you are in the evergreens but should be an easy three. Drop zone on left side by trees.
#3) (320 ft) Temp Tee pad at bottom of #1 East to island green temp basket. Tall grass OB--Drop zone #1 East tee pad.
Be sure to make it on the island green for this hole to get a look at a deuce. Failure to do so will make for a tough bogey.
#4) (445 ft) Temp Tee pad at top of hill (East #18 fairway) to East #2 basket
#4 alternate tee/drop zone) for recreational players and women: between #2 basket and #3 tee pad 190 feet
Stepping up to this tee will remind you why you made the trip to the Safari! Throw a bomb off the top of the hill and wish you could unload your entire bag afterwards. Drop zone if you don’t make it over the road.
#5) (246 ft) Temp Tee pad south of #2 east basket to #3 East basket (tunnel shot) OB back yard
Tunnel shots in Emporia? It’s finally here! Low ceiling. Hit a tree and kick too far right in the backyard and you will be OB and still have a tough out.
#6 (585 ft) Tee pad #4 East to island green on top of hill. Drop zone for water and drop zone for not landing on island or groomed fairway up to island.
Checking out this basket on the top of the hill is a little intimidating from the tee but make it over the water and have a good look at a three if you can make it on the island. Two drop zones for this hole. One for water hazard and another for not making the island. It takes two great shots to get a three on this one.
#7 (333 ft) Temp tee pad North of #6 on hill to #7 East basket. OB long on the rocks and to the left. Water hazard on right. Drop zone by #8 tee pad for water hazard.
Throwing off the hill again with water hazard on the right and OB long and to the left. Keep your drive low and stay on the fairway. Hazards on both sides makes this shot challenging.
#8 (465 ft) Regular hole #6 east course.
#9 Temp tee pad East of basket to temp basket straight ahead across road. 200 feet. Road OB, parking lot OB
Get your birdie here! Short little ‘tunnel’ shot with a putter or mid-range or flick. Steer clear of the trees with a thumber or tomahawk. Don’t throw too deep or you will be OB deep.
#10 Regular #12 East 340 feet
#11 Regular #11 East 336 feet
#12 Temp tee pad on foot bridge to temp basket straight ahead 296 feet. OB on both sides
OB right and left along tree line and behind basket. Throw for birdie? Risk vs. Reward shot!
#13 Regular #9 East 350 feet
#14 (188 ft) Temp tee pad by East #7 to island green. Drop zone (on island) if failure to make it on the island from tee pad.
Birdies are a must here. Slight uphill island shot. Short but still challenging. This hole will see an even mix between 2’s, 3’s and 4’s
#15 (369 ft) Temp tee pad on top of hill by #18 East tee pad to #9 West (long setting). Drop Zone east of basket by road & trees. Drop zone if failure to make it over the road from tee pad.
Slight walk uphill to this one but worth the downhill shot.
#16 (254 ft) Temp tee pad north east of previous hole to #14 East
Lots of shot choices on this short, low ceiling hole. Get a birdie here before the long holes.
#17 (635 ft) Temp tee pad to the North of previous hole to #10 East basket.
Wide open bomber hole until the approach when some trees come into play. A long drive and good approach will get you a three.
#18 (577 ft) East #13 tee pad to West #5 basket. Mando right of the left hedge tree. Mando is enforced to protect the throwers on the previous hole. This mando doesn’t come in to play until 350 feet or so.
#19 (535 ft) West #6 tee pad to West #3 basket
#20 (500 ft) West #7 tee pad to East #15 basket
#21 (280 ft) Regular #9 short
#22 (546 ft) Temp tee pad by #1 West (short basket) to #11 West
#23 (295 ft) Regular West #12 short
#24 (266 ft) Regular West #13 short
#25 (484 ft) Regular West #16 long
#26 (686 ft) Regular West #17 long (recreational, intermediate, & women play short tee pad)
#27 (550 ft) Regular West #18 to temp basket by #1 on dam. Drop Zone by water.
