I would like to give this a shot! Does this layout end up utilizing more of the trees, ponds, streams, and other hazards on the property? Which holes would you consider as pro par four and pro par five holes?

I would have to say by looking at the list and watching the guys play it that Hole #2, Hole #4, Hole #7, and Hole #15 are definitely more challenging (my opinion). I know I would be intimidated by them!
I'm missing Emporia :( ........never thought I would say that......

i would say hole two is a par 5 if the pin is in long and a par 4 in short.
holes 3, 4, and 6 are all 3.5's not long enough to call a par 4 but no one is going to 2 them either. true par 4's would be holes 7, 14, 16, and 17. hole 15 is borderline par 5. That would make scratch par at the 61 to 65 range. I think the consensus we had was 62. on several holes the flat distance isn't as big a deal compared to placement of the shot. The course uses the entire park, so naturally all 3 ponds are in play.

Sounds totally awesome!

It's supposed to be in the mid 40s with little wind this weekend, I might have to give it a shot. 8)

That may be doable. I just need to leave by 4:30 so I'm back in time for the Steelers game. 8)

Nate, with the 55 degree weather forecast for Saturday I just decided to head up today. I had been at the park once before while stopping on my way to K.C. and just walked the East course because it was ridiculously windy, so I just ended up playing both normal West and East today. Had a blast!
