I am requesting that people that are interested in playing our Ace Race to please respoond to this forum.

The Ace Race is scheduled with Discraft to start at 10am.

The Event is August 8th at 10 a.m.

We will meet at the large shelter by hole ones tee pad.

The Ace Race players pack consists of 2 Discs, a fullcolor mini, and a discraft hat. The entry fee is $25.

The format will be:
Two rounds of 18 holes, one throw per hole per player.

Woods park is located on the southwets side of Wellington. There are 2 entrances into the park both off of 160 highway.

If headed west on HWY 160 you will take a left at the stop light by Dillons. The street name is High Drive. You will come to a stop sign at Harvey, you will continue forward 1 block, and make a right turn where the road Y's. Follow the road under the train tracks into the park. There will be a Discraft Banner at the shelter where we will be meeting.

The other entrance to park is through the parking lot of a nursing home, there are signs on the highway pointing towards the nursing home, if taking this route you will go through the parking lot and follow the road into the park. Most of this road is gravel, like the other route you will drive under a railroad bridge.

If you just took two shots per hole (since everyone gets two discs) it seems you could cut the time of the ace race nearly in half. Just my .02

I'll get a hold of Sampson tonight. there should be plenty of player packs still. He was planning on ordering a couple of extras.
