I have few pairs of skin tight leotards if anybody wants to wear them, that should keep those little tickies off you. I have a pair that should fit you smitty but the crouch area is nightcrawler size so they might be a little baggy there for you.

It isn't the size of your worm, it is how you wiggle it.

Is the college not going to complain that the baskets are gone since they are putting it in their flyer saying that they have an on campus course. I just don't want them making us take it out. Just wondering.

I didn't know that they had that posted in their flyers. Nobody is going to want to go out there and play, it is getting pretty hairy.

The mowing job is exactly what I tried to tell people it would be when we first went back out there.

I do think that a good mowing in late Sept. early Oct. and we are going to be able to play there all winter and most of the spring.

Copy of e-mail sent to Maintenance supervisor:

Jeff-

My name is Chris Smith. I am a member of the local Disc Golf Club.

First of all, thanks for the opportunity to reinstall the course and allowing us to play it the last few months. It is a blast to play out there, and definitely a unique Kansas Disc Golf experience.

Today I pulled all the baskets and moved them to Cherry Street. As I predicted from the start, the maintenance of the course was more then we as a club would be able to handle. The first work night we had 15 or more people working. The last time it was mowed we had 3 people working.

As you may know, we have lost Josh. He has moved on to a new job in Emporia Kansas. I hope to be the contact and work with you on all things Disc Golf on campus.

It is my hopes that after the summer, when the grass stops growing and the ticks die. The local club can give the place a real nice mow and clean-up and be able to play it for several months.

We would also be very interested in working with the intramural program or another campus organization to the more College kids on the course and playing.

Once again, thanks for the opportunity.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Chris

It's getting about that time of year, that I think in a couple of weeks or so, we can have a mowing and clean up day and the get course back in the ground for winter.

As soon as Burley gets done with the festival, I am sure we can talk him into bringing that big mower back out.

What in the world is going on over at the college. I drove by and looked like holes 1 and 2 were mowed which is good. There were alot of trees cut down around hole 1 teepad and hole 9 basket. Not just brush, but some fairly signifigant sized trees. Anyone know who's doing what over there?
